Aromatherapy. That's the first thing that comes to mind regarding this fragrance from Rituals.
The company shines with various aromatic shower gels, shower oils, hand creams & perfumes that aim to convey a certain mood.
And yes, they succeed in creating mood enhancers.

The Ritual of Jing - Sleep is undoubtedly one of those mood enhancers or mood darkeners, as this scent has been developed for falling asleep.
With lavender & sandalwood, it features two essential components that pleasantly stimulate the synapses and the olfactory center.
You can actually imagine the whole experience like being in a finest wellness spa oasis.
There, a mixture of lavender/sandalwood is often used to scent the rooms for improved relaxation.

When I think back, it took me a few tries to warm up to this scent.
You should also take your time if you are interested in such a fragrance category.
For Sleep, I would estimate the ratio to be 70% lavender - 30% sandalwood based on my perception.
I apply it to my pillow, blanket & body, just as it states on the bottle.
On textiles, it lasts less than a "normal" perfume, and if you spray it on before sleeping, it’s quite possible that you will barely notice it the next evening when falling asleep.
However, on the body, it leaves a nice oily film.
The scent itself is not really intense. It’s just right to be well perceived at first, becoming more subdued over time so that it doesn’t disturb.

Your path to inner peace, as it says in the title, and how Rituals promotes this fragrance.
It’s more about the feeling that can be described with this perfume, less about the technical aspects of the scent.
For my part, I can only say that I have indeed found my inner peace.
Whereas there is a war regarding the price since I now have an exorbitant consumption, as I find it so good.
It really helps me to relax so I can sleep better.
