Amber Sky or Sweaty Leather
In this review, I wonder how close I can get my nose to the sprayed area in order to properly evaluate the scent?
50 cm: Embracing amber-tonka.
5 cm: Fully sweaty leather saddle.
Right upon spraying, it smells as if I’m pouring a Grand Marnier, great start. The grapefruit adds a bit of freshness. As I get closer to the spray area, I also perceive a slightly prickly sharpness from the chili. It’s the first time I can actually identify that.
After a while, the beautifully ambered tonka bean takes over the scent, warm, flattering, not overwhelming. I do not perceive leather WHEN I KEEP MY DISTANCE.
As mentioned above, when I hold my nose close … sweaty leather. This raises the question, how do you smell it right?
