The Disappointment of Experimental Perfumery

Even Acqua di Parma Colonia, the classic signature from ADP last way way longer, and cost half of the price on discounters market!
I mean, why i have to spend 150-160 Euros to a cologne that didn t even last 20 minutes? Come on, its so thin, ffs!
The scent its so nice smelling, everithing its in balance, but very very poor thenically executed! I also percieve that almost all Tauer parfumes doesn't last very long on the skin, which is a shame and a huge disappointment!
I had higher expectations from Tauer, but this is where the "experimental" factor of an experimental perfume niche comes in. You can't always expect something stable and 100% diffusible!

good but weak

This last fragrance from the TAUER house that I had a lot of confidence in, disappointed me a little. Pleasant aroma, nothing ingenious, performance little more than acceptable. Aromatic citric Dalila also that is emerging a little and eating a more woody base would be . good aroma but nothing new and performance not worthy of this house

Realistic citruses, laundry detergent and a herbal spicy drydown

Cologne du Maghreb has that touch of № 09 - Orange Star in that it has that generous, warm, realistic orange peel start. It's very realistic, I could picture myself peeling open an orange for a snack. The overall vibe also mingles with some laundry detergent vibe just like Tilia. There's some powderiness, but also a fresh, clean aspect that's enjoyable. I'd say the citruses and the herbs are the most noticeable of the bunch. I barely got any florals through all of this. It ends up drying down into a nice, calm, soothing, herbal composition where rosemary seems to pull the strongest on my skin. There's also some spiciness as it dries down that leans masculine to me, but nothing a woman wouldn't wear.

Overall it's pretty pleasing and it reminds me of a bunch of perfumes layered together. It's not the strongest of Tauer's creations, but it has an identity all on its own. It leans more masculine to me because of the drydown, which is why I won't be getting it, but overall I found it to be quite enjoyable.

The perfect EDC, if only you didn’t leave me!

Cologne du Maghreb is one of the most interesting and sensorial eau de colognes that I’ve had the opportunity to sample.

It’s a complex assortment of citrus, herbs, florals, woods and balsams that are beautifully blended. I could spend hours examining its diverse and varied facets.

However, the fragrance doesn’t merely fade but flees from my nose after approximately 60 minutes. Poof, and she’s left me all alone. Goodbye my love!

beautiful 100% natural cologne

Cologne du Maghreb by Tauer feels like a modern take on a classic cologne. the opening is strong and bitter, probably from the herbs, giving it a sharp and serious tone. after a few seconds, the citrus notes appear, especially orange and maybe a touch of lemon, but it feels more like the peels of the fruits than the juice, fresh and slightly rough.
in the dry down, clementine stands out, sweet but also a little bitter, bright and soft at the same time. the balance between sweetness and bitterness keeps it interesting and unique. i really love this perfume because it evolves beautifully and never feels flat.
all the ingredients are 100% natural, so every note comes from real materials, not synthetics. unfortunately, it lasts only about two hours, but despite the short longevity, it is a true masterpiece and highly recommended for anyone who enjoys natural and citrus-based fragrances
