A more precious Black Orchid

The Padshahname Chronicles of the Mughal Emperors of India wrote it was made of rubies, diamonds, carbuncles and pearls of a huge value. Oh well ,that one we don't have, but what we DO have is Thameen's PEACOCK THRONE,same valuable and even more beautiful.
Patchouli doubled by iris, with taif galloping in a huge mouthwatering gardenia cloud sounds like a combination that might create chic panic attacks and elegant spasms, but this is only in theory, cause basically The Peacock Throne is so residential it needs its own personal zip code.

Shimmering Feather Dress of a Queen
This fragrance contains many facets, just like the feather of a blue peacock. I perceive a citrus note that is surrounded by a soft leather note (even though no leather is listed). The scent feels very majestic and unique in its entire composition. If I were to assign a color to the fragrance, it would be royal blue, and I see a queen in a shimmering blue dress.
It has a certain similarity to Black Orchid by T.F, but it is much finer, and the uplifting citrus note gives the fragrance a certain liveliness that I really enjoy.
I recommend this fragrance for a woman who has many facets and wants to express the strongest facet "the majestic."

A fine jungle sensation!
"I was immediately taken by 'Peacock Thron.'

The scent is a wow! It starts with a sweet and simultaneously very green liana-juice - it almost feels gourmand, making your mouth water with this juicy-sweet acidity. And this is despite the fact that I usually can't appreciate sour scents at all. (At first, the fragrance reminds me a bit of Aura EdT, but this one is much more refined.)

In this direction, this wonderful scent only stays for a while before drifting into a much more floral territory. And again, a wow! And then: 'This feels very familiar to me!'

Now I am trying to feverishly figure out in my mind which other fragrance this perfume resembles so strongly. And soon I find an answer: it is indeed a scent twin of my beloved Velvet Orchid Lumiere by Tom Ford, 1:1, especially in the skin test.

The perfume, like TF's, is the epitome of a symphony of sweet, nectar-rich, full-bloom flowers (in this case rose, ylang-ylang, jasmine), spiced with lemon and underpinned by sandalwood and vanilla!

Difference to TF: on skin 1:1,
but on hair and paper, the scent reveals more citrusy nuances (vetiver plays a larger role here). 'Peacock' is less intense than Tom Ford's 'Orchid,' has a much more subdued sillage and lower longevity.

All in all: very good, but not original (aside from the more original beginning). More feminine, suitable for those who find Tom Ford's scents too loud and intrusive or who want something in that direction that is practical for everyday wear and office-friendly.

Addendum: after wearing it several times in the cold weather outside, I suddenly smell a beautiful leather accord in the background of this sweet-green-floral scent. This leather impression makes the whole thing even more exciting and refined, so I had to raise my fragrance rating.

Deep, rich, regal, jewel-toned. A bouquet of fragrant flowers on a well-polished hall console. Best for fancy nighttime occasions.

Opening blast of sharp lemon & pungent spices give way to a soft, powdery rose buried in dirt. Gets sweeter and less earthy as it dries.

Opens spicy, fresh, white floral w/ subtle citrus/sweetness. Evolves spicy-sweet-floral, driven by nutmeg/patchouli. Leans fem, spring-fall.

Strange smell - I get citrus and dirtiness (probably from patchouli), as it develops in develops an off putting funk

Definitely the milky-earthy fruit-flower mix we know from Black Orchid. Here, though, it's light-filled and more delicate. Truly lovely!

Fruity floral perfume. It reminded me of Brazilian carnival dancers. It develops much more pleasantly in warmth.

A bag of Haribo Tutti Frutti...
I can't smell anything else.
Well, just a hint of rose.
What's wrong with my scent perception? :D

Firework of flower cups:
Colorful dance, sweet & shimmering
Until the little flowers go to sleep.
Then gentle beauty
Lays upon their heads...

Mainly, a confidently peppered rose in a silky dress is noticeable, but underneath, there's a lemony, multi-colored complexity.
