Creamy apricot, woods and balsams

Wonderly is a creamy, fruity, sweet scent with a surprising amount of greenery in the opening. I was a bit puzzled when I first smelled this and got a strong piney forest vibe, even though nothing in the notes indicates that. It takes a moment to get used to it.

Then I started to smell the other notes, which became more prominent with each trial. Apricot is the most noticeable, with a hint of tartness from the goji berry. Honestly, I don't think many people would pick up goji berry without the notes list (I certainly wouldn't!), but when you read it, it makes sense. The fruits are thoroughly blended with sandalwood, vanilla, almond and a touch of myrrh, so the overall impression feels very creamy and glossy. I like the drydown better than the opening, as I can usually do without green, coniferuos notes in perfumes. The base feels quite balsamic, but not in a heady resinous way, it's really smooth and enveloping.

I think there is some THOO DNA in this, something I also smelled in other creations like Almond Harmony or What About Pop. I can't put my finger on what it is, but they're all warm scents. Wonderly is the airiest out of them.
All in all it's a nice scent I enjoy, but not a must have for me.

Nothing is impossible. The unexpected can happen.

Wonderly ... well, I never actually wanted to have such a weird egg in my collection, but at the perfume meeting in Munich on Saturday, it was all over for me ... it had to come home with me ... egg or not ;)
I understood Wonderly immediately when I started to sniff and let myself fall into this scent ... into this experience, this sensation!
I find it extraordinary and simply wonderful :)

About the scent:
Wonderly starts fruity with sweet apricot and a hint of bitter goji berry. No fruit salad ... I promise!
Quickly, almond blossom and a bit of jasmine join in. I somehow don’t detect neroli.
Floral-fruity and not so wow yet ... but then ... Wonderly turns into a woody-smoky-floral musk direction refined with delicate vanilla.
The base sneaks immediately into my heart.
Cedar and creamy sandalwood blend with a beautiful powdery iris. Threads of incense and myrrh weave through the fragrance. Vanilla sprinkles combined with musk create a cozy feeling. *Creamy powdery wonderfully cozy*
I have thought since the Armani Privé - Charm' that iris and incense make a great pair, and I find exactly that in Wonderly.
It’s a charmer ... all the notes are harmoniously balanced. Warm-soft-wonderful!
Wonderly is not a loud scent; the sillage is only noticeable at first, quickly becoming very close to the skin ... but that doesn’t bother me, because you don’t always need a massive sillage ;)
The longevity is about 7 - 8 hours.
Wearable all year round ... except in the height of summer!
Unisex? Hmm... I find it quite feminine ... but I would recommend a test for brave men.
The bottle ... um ... I resisted testing these weird eggs for quite a long time ;) ... although Wonderly is somehow the prettiest egg. The holder doesn’t look as cheap as with the other scents from the brand. It’s not golden, but reflects the colors of the bottle, which I find quite pretty :)
The egg is not really an egg ... but flat ;)

Powdery & sweet open, but as it dries, I do get spices reminding me of Rehab and/or Ani. Intimate sillage. Open leans fem, dries unisex.

So far, I've been more impressed by THoO's bottles. But this one really stands out. It performs more creamy than sweet, with flowers on a delicate vanilla-wood base.
