A weng zweng
Did you know that in Bavaria the plural of Wagen is Wägen? Recently, I was sitting with a colleague and had to grin when she asked if the Wägen were already prepared. Before I go home in the afternoon, I prepare the snacks at the daycare. Everything goes on carts that are moved through the hallways on wheels. "But you do know that you only say that here in Bavaria? The plural of Wagen is Wagen!" She looks at me, puzzled. She thinks for a moment. She's almost 30 and tells me that she's never thought about it before. It takes a long moment and then she laughs.

A weng zweng means - a little too little. When I first sprayed Wind Heat, I found it too little, boring, and thought, oh no, this doesn’t need to be. I'm relatively quick to decide, if I don't like it, off to the souk. The next morning I sprayed it again. Hm, actually not so bad. Back out of the souk.
Wind Heat is a very light leather scent with a wonderful pencil note. I feel completely clean from this clean musk. Oud is indicated, but I don't perceive any. I spray myself well and am wonderfully scented for up to 5 hours, I can smell myself the whole time. This scent really puts me in a good mood. It is pleasantly sweet and doesn't overwhelm me. The iris feels wonderfully creamy.
I've already tried several of the eggs. Golden Powder and this one I particularly like. My daughter really enjoys Empathy, a gift to her from a very dear perfumer here. I find the bottles unwieldy and initially dismissed them as silly, but it’s all about the content, and the content of Wind Heat is really great.

Yesterday I discovered a new place and went to have lunch with my little one. On the menu, they of course have Wiener Schnitzel and also pork tenderloin with mushroom cream. In Bavaria, you would never bread a schnitzel and then offer mushroom cream with it. But today I’m going to recognize myself as an outsider again and just order it - a Wiener with mushroom cream and look forward to the horrified faces. A weng zweng boarisch ;)

Wishing everyone a lovely Sunday!

Fluffy Oud and Pink Roses
Today I was at the Frosch Parfumerie in Heidelberg. There is a sale from time to time, and today I was determined to take something beautiful home with me. The consultation was, as always, superb, and I smelled countless fragrances, both on the test strips and on my skin.
I kept asking the saleswoman which fragrance this one was. I must have returned to Wind Heat at least five times, a name I didn't even know at that point.
And again and again, she pointed with her hand to the somewhat ostentatious but lavish golden bottle.
Did I want something like that? In the end, it didn't matter; it was the scent I liked the most.

It has an oriental scent, but only very subtly of oud. Floral and clean notes dominate. I smell peony and rose petals. Overall, this is a fragrance for a woman, for me. I can't imagine it on a man. But I will have my husband try it as well.
Since the fragrance was reduced by almost 60% and I kept convincing myself that I liked it, I decided to take it home. The bottle is actually quite pretty and elegant, unique. The bottle looks like a marbled stone and stands upside down in a golden, ornate, and massive holder. I've never seen anything like it...

What can I say, after showering I sprayed it on again, and I was greeted by bright floral, fresh, clean oud. The creamiest, brightest oud I have ever smelled. The fragrance is very delicate and noble. It adorns my skin beautifully.
The entire scent is bright and radiant, but has nothing dry about it; no, really, it is fresh and creamy. It only becomes slightly powdery in moderation. It strikes me as powdery delicate and soft, just like light suede looks.
In this bright, friendly combination, I have never smelled agarwood before.

I just read the statements and fortunately didn't let them influence me beforehand. Sometimes I read them here before making a purchase. Here, I smell no Ambrox, no amber; the fragrance is free of that note. But today I also smelled a gray amber fragrance that the consultant was reluctant to show me. Magnetic Blend 1 Initio; she found it too fecal. Yes, it was that too. But it's all a matter of taste. Anyway, this one here is softly smoky, bright floral, slightly sweet, and clean.

The base consists of light, soft suede and slightly "cottony" mild-sweet musk. Somehow, the whole fragrance is fluffy, if I may say so. But the word fits perfectly here.
The scent lasts a long time, many hours on the skin, radiating well but gently. With movements, I keep noticing it. It suits day and night and is simply beautiful. The most beautiful fragrance experience for me in quite some time.

I don't smell any oud. Wind Heat is very clean with a hint of powdery detergent or fabric softener. It reminds me a bit...

I only smell something at the beginning: a fine iris note, peppery spice, clean polished wood. Then it’s almost gone. So no rating possible.

Peach chaos in the freesias and roses, quite unspectacularly strong floral-fruity. Then Ambrox knocks everything over.

Initially fresh and peppery, soon an interesting combination of dry iris & a hint of delicate suede takes over. It's something special.

peppery-soft peony/freesia blend with a light musk undertone. I can only vaguely sense the suede. A special rose scent
