A weng zweng
Did you know that in Bavaria the plural of Wagen is Wägen? Recently, I was sitting with a colleague and had to grin when she asked if the Wägen were already prepared. Before I go home in the afternoon, I prepare the snacks at the daycare. Everything goes on carts that are moved through the hallways on wheels. "But you do know that you only say that here in Bavaria? The plural of Wagen is Wagen!" She looks at me, puzzled. She thinks for a moment. She's almost 30 and tells me that she's never thought about it before. It takes a long moment and then she laughs.
A weng zweng means - a little too little. When I first sprayed Wind Heat, I found it too little, boring, and thought, oh no, this doesn’t need to be. I'm relatively quick to decide, if I don't like it, off to the souk. The next morning I sprayed it again. Hm, actually not so bad. Back out of the souk.
Wind Heat is a very light leather scent with a wonderful pencil note. I feel completely clean from this clean musk. Oud is indicated, but I don't perceive any. I spray myself well and am wonderfully scented for up to 5 hours, I can smell myself the whole time. This scent really puts me in a good mood. It is pleasantly sweet and doesn't overwhelm me. The iris feels wonderfully creamy.
I've already tried several of the eggs. Golden Powder and this one I particularly like. My daughter really enjoys Empathy, a gift to her from a very dear perfumer here. I find the bottles unwieldy and initially dismissed them as silly, but it’s all about the content, and the content of Wind Heat is really great.
Yesterday I discovered a new place and went to have lunch with my little one. On the menu, they of course have Wiener Schnitzel and also pork tenderloin with mushroom cream. In Bavaria, you would never bread a schnitzel and then offer mushroom cream with it. But today I’m going to recognize myself as an outsider again and just order it - a Wiener with mushroom cream and look forward to the horrified faces. A weng zweng boarisch ;)
Wishing everyone a lovely Sunday!
