The Just Before arrived at my place today. I sprayed it on immediately and found it nice, just not very strong. "I thought"
I'm out and a lady in a venue immediately approached me. I had never experienced that before, mind you.
She asked me what beautiful fragrance I was wearing. It smelled so good when I entered the venue.
I told her the name and brand of the perfume. She just looked at me questioningly, she had never heard of that brand and Googled the scent.
She said she would probably have to get this fragrance as well. It fascinated her so much.
So this scent is definitely not weak in sillage. I was proven that today.
A very sweet fragrance with a bit of spice from saffron. But you really have to like sweet scents!

Beautiful Sweet Spice with Myrrh and Great Wood

I tested this wonderful fragrance from The House of Oud many months ago and have worn it a few times since. I treated myself to the miniature of this scent. It contains 7ml and is perfect for testing. The only fragrance from this brand in my collection is the bestseller "Dates Delight | The House of Oud," which just recently joined my collection. These hand-painted eggs are simply dreamy and worth buying just for the bottle, as they are among the most beautiful artistically. If you can get these fragrances with a bit of a discount, they are definitely worth it. I will not purchase this Just Before in 75ml, as it bears too much resemblance to "Seta | Moresque," which I already own and find slightly better. Nevertheless, this Just Before deserves an initial review, as it is really well made. This blend of wood, sweetness, spice, and also light gourmand and oriental notes is very pleasant. Compared to Seta, this one is not quite as soft and has more edges and contours.

The color of the fragrance is very dark on the skin and leaves a slightly oily film. This should be noted when wearing light clothing. These fragrances are usually very intense, and here this scent starts off very well, heading into that typical amber direction. The woody notes are also very special, and with Palo Santo, you get a wonderful exotic wood note. Soft, well-cared-for sandalwood adds to this. The spice is brought by myrrh and saffron, which adds a slight oriental touch. Myrrh is significantly more dominant than saffron and is one of the main players in this creation. Additionally, there is this wonderful vanilla-amber note that envelops the wearer beautifully and brings a pleasant sweet warmth. Ylang-ylang provides some creamy notes without becoming too floral. The base, with vanilla-amber, well-cared-for sandalwood, myrrh, and balsamic-resinous benzoin, is very pleasant and soft. This scent is quite similar to Seta, even in terms of the pyramid. Palo Santo gives this fragrance a distinctly woodier and more pronounced vibe. I like both very much.
Performance is really very good. The sillage radiates extremely well in the first hours. You constantly have this scent in your nose. Since this one is a bit heavier, it is more suitable for cooler days, such as in autumn. The longevity is also very satisfying at a minimum of 10 hours.

Overall, a great unisex fragrance that aligns with the cozy scent of Seta, featuring beautiful myrrh spice and great vanilla-amber. There is also a generous portion of Palo Santo added. I can highly recommend it for autumn and milder days of the year.

Mainly dries to woods & ambers w/ some sweetness. Starts out feminine-leaning, but goes unisex. Poor sillage, okay longevity. Fall-winter.

It's lovely despite the saffron note. Soft, cozy, moderately sweet, and warming. Oriental dessert. I like wearing it, but I don't need to have it right now.
