A soft vanilla cloud with a touch of fire

Ginger is neither my favorite note, nor one I dislike. I was surprised how much I love this very ginger-forward scent.
I think it's the contrast of the fiery, refreshing ginger and sparkly tangerine on a very soft, cozy and comforting vanilla base.
This is a bright, airy kind of vanilla that is carefully interwoven with fluffy white musk and creamy florals. It feels like a cloud of powder around you. The tuberose subtly hypnotic without overtaking the scent.
The tangerine is gone after the opening, but the ginger sticks to the base over the whole duration of the fragrance.

Apart from that, Ruby Red reminds me of Kenzo Amour, one of my all time favorites. I also get the comparison to Aedes Cierge de Lune, which smells like a spicier Amour to me, too - just with suede and pepper instead of ginger. I love this concept of a enveloping, feminine fragrance with a bit of a kick. Might sound cheesy, but I feel like it really fits my personality.

I also think this is very easy to wear and suitable for most occasions, day and night, and any weather except extreme heat. Warm enough for winter time, light enough for warmer days, soft enough for the office but with enough character for going out. Truly signature-worthy.

The only things I don't get are the name and bottle color. Nothing about this feels red, to me this is a white/cream and gold scent. Maybe with some red or orange specks, but definitely not wholly ruby red, much less a red storm.

homage to ginger as a spice and not a plant

This is a very rich, dark, spicy, woody ginger that reminds me of tarot readings in dark rooms. It is absolutely not a fresh ginger pulled straight from the ground and cut open, all green and citrus-y (I'm still searching for a fragrance like that). I get absolutely no floral nor tangerine (though my skin has never taken well to citrus scents when it's not the star of the show). This is more of a savory mélange/potpourri of dry spices that happens to spotlight ginger. Not very zingy in my opinion. This is definitely more savory/umami.

Such a unique scent

At first spray after it arriving it is very Ginger forward, but candied. Fresh and fizzy smelling...soft and pretty. I am so interested in how this is going to develop and wear. It is unique to my collection and I ADORE This bottle! I can't wait to see whether this is going to develop into a love for me, or simply stay a like. Right now, I am definitely curious.

Ginger Treat

More than just a ginger shot!
The ginger note is very realistic.
In combination with this sweet, delicious vanilla, it’s an absolute dream.
With that, I have already described the main characters of the top note.
Fortunately, tuberose does not show up as strongly as expected.
In the pyramid, candied ginger is listed, and that’s exactly what it is. While at the beginning one perceives a very fresh, real ginger scent, it later becomes sweet, sugary, but not sticky, rather tasty like a little treat.
Someone mentioned ginger cookies here.
Although personally, I didn’t think of cookies; Red Storm smells very delicious, like a candy made of ginger and vanilla.
Eaten by a woman wearing tuberose perfume.
Yes, by a woman, because even though it says unisex here, I can imagine Red Storm more on a woman or lady.
A lady with a preference for candied ginger.
Both longevity and sillage are satisfactory.

Perfect Late Summer Scent

Today I finally received my bottle of Ruby Red.
I became aware of this fragrance through "Cierge de Lune | Aedes de Venustas."
I am currently interested in spicy sweet scents. I really like "Cierge de Lune | Aedes de Venustas," but there is always a note that comes through (I have associated it with the smell of freshly cooked kale) that I sometimes cannot stand. For whatever reason. That’s why Cierge de Lune has been in and out of my collection multiple times. Ruby Red was supposed to be similar. I was able to order a sample in the souk, and it was exactly what I was looking for.
It is significantly less spicy (and without the "kale note") but sweeter and fruitier. However, I would never have associated this fragrance with ginger if I hadn’t read it beforehand. The citrus notes come through well, as do the vanilla and the woody elements. I think this scent is ideal for the current season and the calm, warm late summer weather that we unfortunately have too rarely here by the North Sea. It is too sweet and spicy for the hot summer but not heavy enough for winter yet. And the bottle fits perfectly with the current sunsets.
Longevity and sillage are not outstanding, but I have had fragrances that performed worse for more money. I can clearly perceive the scent on my skin for about 3 hours, then it fades.
