Clearly well made but not for me

I get fresh spicy, I get creamy, I get some depth and interesting changes in the dry down, but it's still not for me. It may be the mid notes of white floral, which I know isn't my thing so ymmv. I don't get the citrus at the top. The woods come out later, bit still not enough to convince me. Ultimately this simply isn't for me, but for those who like white floral this may be worth giving a sniff.

Is the bottle really everything?

For me, the bottle is primarily what stands out in the fragrances from The House of Oud. I bought Never Ending on the secondary market; it was a blind buy for me due to the great price. As for the scent itself, the spicy notes definitely take center stage, and a grapefruit doesn't come through in my nose later on. I must mention that I probably lack the experience to recognize such subtleties. On the other hand, vanilla and I believe the tuberose unfold over time and make the fragrance more pleasing. Generally, I must note that I wouldn't want to buy the fragrance at full price; it's just not special enough for me. As I mentioned at the beginning, I am absolutely in love with the beautiful creations of the bottles, and thus this will certainly not be the last fragrance from this company.

You Hit My Taste

Neverending is really to my liking and is one of my favorites from The House of Oud. It has spicy notes, but above all, a certain elegance, something finely powdery, a light sweetness, and beautiful floral facets.

The fragrance starts off quite spicy and slightly smoky. At this point, many will probably drop out. Personally, I am not bothered by that. I find it completely within the realm and really interesting. The grapefruit listed in the top notes brings a certain balance to it. It doesn’t come across as zesty, but somehow it acts as a counterpoint to the various spices.

The longer the fragrance sits on the skin, the more beautiful it becomes.
So many who have already dropped out after the first phase and may have washed it off or stopped smelling it have, in my opinion, made a mistake. Because Neverending then shows completely different facets that make it super beautiful for me!

The spices become milder now.
Floral notes come into play.
A certain sweetness builds up.
It becomes pleasantly powdery, and a soft leather accord gently makes its rounds. I just really like this interplay! It feels totally harmonious, serious, and elegant to me.

Towards the end of the development, I perceive a subtle vanilla and especially woody impressions.

Neverending is wonderfully unisex and has good performance on my skin.
It lasts 8-9 hours on me.
The sillage is a bit more reserved, but completely fine. Good stuff!

Sweet Leather Jacket to Go

I usually don't wear leather scents. I own hardly any leather items, and therefore I feel that masculine, strong leather fragrances don't suit me. But this one is different.

The fragrance starts with strong, spicy leather aromas. These remain present even in the drydown, but they become lighter and less overpowering.

After about 20 minutes, the scent begins to turn pleasantly sweet. It reminds me a bit of Baccarat Rouge by MFK but with a bit less cotton candy and less sharpness.

After a few hours, the fragrance develops into a pleasant vanilla note, with slight leather notes and a lovely musky undertone.

I have already received several compliments for this scent. The sillage is extremely good, and on my skin, the fragrance lasts at least 8-10 hours. Even though the reviews here are not so positive, I find the scent to be wonderfully crafted and a great introduction to the world of leather fragrances for a younger audience.
