Frische Minze
Top Minze Duft.

Spicy freshie in the shade of the cypress trees
Cypress Shade opens with a sharp spicy and citrusy accord that lasts through the life of the fragrance. The lifetime of the accord is extended by a musky woody base, but in essence it is a one-accord perfume. Unique but polarizing, just the way I like my freshies! Specifically, the spicy notes listed are star anise, coriander, petitgrain, but they are nicely blended with the citrus notes to give a special sharp yet beautiful composition. Lasts and projects very well. Not a blind buy, but definitely give it a try if you’re into spicy freshies!

Haute Couture of the Stone Age
Who says that Stone Age people were only rough and rugged?
Science has now established that this was not the case. They had to defend themselves against various dangers differently than modern humans, but they also had brains and intelligence, just like today. And culture.
I can well imagine that some people had a great sense of art, craftsmanship, and a kind of fashion, which probably also applied to scents.
There were probably not only furs for "everyday wear," but perhaps woven "grass cloaks" for special occasions, "clothes" made from finely woven reeds, and much more.
This might have been the counterpart to today's Haute Couture or Prêt-à-Porter in the fashion world.
And they were likely made by specialists for "higher-ranking individuals," for special occasions.
And these "Stone Age people" probably took better care of themselves and scented themselves than people in the times of Louis XIV in Versailles...
They used many plant juices that smelled aromatic, herbal, or woody.
Resin was extracted from trees in small quantities, roots were pressed for their aromas, and flowers were soaked in animal fat to extract their scent.
And for many rites and customs, the finished essences were applied to washed skin, smoked, or sprayed in liquid form.
This is roughly how I can imagine such an interesting and multifaceted scent that could have been used back then.
Similar to "Cypress Shade," herbal, spicy, resinous-green, and quite unusual and exotic for "today's noses."
Such a scent, even if it is a bit of an acquired taste for me, has something that many other perfumes lack: uniqueness, artistry, and character.

Fresh and citric opening. A smooth almondy, dry, mimosa with a slightly sweet, spicy and green vetiver. Cedarwood and smoke in the base.

An unusual but interesting combination of herbaceous citrus and sweet notes. Like mint chewing gum with sugar (not in a bad sense).

Horrid cheap laundry detergent opening, powdery green middle, smooth woody drydown.

The quadrature of the circle: green-fresh and woody-powdery at the same time; with mint, floral notes, and everything stays bright green, herbal, a bit sharp, good.

The opening is amazing - green-fresh-minty with great fruitiness, but it quickly shifts to a cool-green-plant vibe, very cool scent!

Fresh-powdery- floral- minty- herbal. Strange mix of sweet mimosa with anise on vetiver and wood. Neither fish nor meat.

Starts citrus-fresh with a hint of anise, then spicy-fresh thanks to vetiver and mint, finishing woody-fresh with cedar.
Summer scent for men.

Herbal, cool, green, and floral, more like the stems than the blooms. I don't smell oud, and mint in fragrances isn't for me. Not my thing.

This mimosa scent is wonderfully crazy. Mango-like with mint & coriander nestled in a bright green plant bed. Mimosa stays present.
