Surprise! Surprise!
"Light Cotton": by the name, I automatically imagined a wardrobe full of sun- and air-dried laundry: somehow so fresh and clean. Or freshly ironed cotton voile dresses, in which a light summer breeze plays.
But I should have realized that what this name suggested is atypical for "The Merchant of Venice."
Even in this monothematic series, they remain true to themselves in Venice: only the best scents make it into the flacons.
What I have acquired from Italy surprises and delights me!
"Light Cotton" is a fragrance that simply brims with sensuality!
Lovers of roses and freesias will find their hearts' desire here: a whole garden of ripe blooms seems to be contained in this red flacon. Nestled in aromatic, comforting scents. Each one alone is pure bliss for pampered parfumistas. Vanilla perfectly rounds off this scent symphony!
And not just for a magical moment, but for a very, very long time.
Here, less should actually be more. But it is very, very hard not to spray just a little bit more (just a bit more!)!
But, what the heck: "da capo!" and "Bravissimo!"
(Even while writing, I could purr out loud with pleasure!)
