Love in a roundabout way - Addendum: but no happy ending!
My nose and I, we are still plenty inexperienced and Telea does not necessarily correspond to my fragrance preferences. But a review that touched me deeply made me curious about this fragrance anyway. So I ordered a sample of Terenzi's Telea from Essenza Nobile.
Love at first spray was our encounter unfortunately not: very special, but for me too fruity-sweet, too intrusive, too different and the sample was sorted out first, as rather not so mine.
But for whatever reason, the fragrance did not let me go. Maybe I was not in the right mood at the time of the test, maybe it was too warm, too cold, or whatever? Finally, after a few days, the filling was unpacked again. And only then, without reservations and rash decisions, I really got involved with this unusual and extraordinary fragrance for my nose. And not once or twice but again and again. And to my surprise, it gradually became more and more beautiful: still sweet, but not sticky sweet, but exceptionally bright, radiant, fresh floral and fruity sweet, then later in the base to linger more and more in an enveloping, soothing, warm-woody direction.
It wasn't an easy start, but this particular scent has steadily touched and captured my heart more and more. Telea is for me a starfish, which has emerged from the depths of the ocean for me spiky-skinned rough and unattractive, and which I could only recognize in all its glory and beauty on a second look and closer inspection. It was not love at first smell, but in the meantime I may call a 100 ml bottle my own thanks to a very nice perfumer! I am very happy with my starfish! Telea is not quiet, but also not cheeky or superficial, but of an extraordinary depth and consistency. Telea is radiant, bright, sunny, friendly, enveloping and warm. Telea takes you in his arms, gives you time and welcomes you.
Telea is persistent and lasts a good 8-10 hours on my scent-eating skin and the sillage is strong for me to get used to. Telea is sun rays, joie de vivre and optimism! Love at second sight!
Addendum: you are exceptional, but we just do not fit together! I feel uncomfortable and disguised with you! You are ultimately too loud, too sweet, too fruity and too trimmed to youthfulness for me. You are probably made more for younger noses. I let you pull. All the best!
