Disappointed or not?

I have the previous version of Amber Romance. I wanted it soo bad due to cherry note...
Unfortunately, I feel cherry a bit or I don't feel it in some cases. Too much cream and burnt sugar, but I don't see any more reasons to hate it.
It's too heavy for summer, but ideal for autumn and helps to get more compliments

Newer formula is watered down

There was a note here that I couldn't quite put my finger on - some sort of sour or tart fruit coming through. When seeing the scent notes listed, I understand now it was the black cherry.

It blends well with the amber/musky and creamy notes, and is quite cozy - but it's unfortunately overall very light/watered down compared to previous versions (this is for the 2022 release of the "mini mist exploration set").

For this reason, you may be better off finding an older bottle on a resale platform.

Another black cherry + musk scent, that isn't discontinued and has better longevity/projection (but doesn't have the amber this does): Black Cherry Merlot

An Absolute Feel-Good Fragrance

Incredibly beautiful, sexy scent! The sillage is much better than one might expect from a body spray. I like to use this as a hair perfume. The name is unfortunately a bit misleading, but it does not change the wonderful gourmand character! When wearing a body spray, I usually don't expect compliments - however, Amber Romance has already earned me a compliment or two!

Vanilla pudding with cherry sauce on a faux sandalwood table. Super sweet gourmand that only has amber in its name. For hardcore sweet tooths + dessert lovers.
