Tommy Summertime 2024

Just happened across this beautiful fragrance on a trip to my local Ross store. Very little info online currently but this is a new summer release for 2024. This has citrus opening that’s a little fizzy and dries down to a creamy almost coconut. There is no coconut listed as a note so maybe the cardamom is lending to that creaminess. The scent projects very nicely. The temp is only in the 50’s today on the east coast and I imagine this will probably project even more in the higher heat of summer. I don’t pick up on any of the patchouli and the lemon dies down rather quickly but this smells like summer in a bottle. Can’t beat this for the $25 I paid for it. It smells like it should cost much more. If you see it grab it since it’s supposedly a limited release.

Summer in a Bottle

A spontaneous purchase at the local Müller turns into a secret love in the height of summer. Almost like a fairy tale.

For me, a little insider tip that probably not everyone shares. The Tommy Vibrant Summer opens very strongly with a citrus sweetness that lasts throughout the entire duration. For me, there’s a certain vibe of pineapple/coconut involved, even though these are not listed in the fragrance pyramid. A rather simple, fresh, slightly sweet summer scent that convinces from second one.

For a fresh fragrance, I find the longevity completely acceptable. It won’t knock your socks off, but for the price, you can hardly expect more. The sillage is fine, but the scent is rather close to the skin.

For me, it has become a classic in summer. I think its light sweetness makes it suitable for wearing in winter as well.

All in all, a good and versatile fragrance that can be worn in any situation.

The Deep Blue...

... of the sea with the salty cool fresh sea air that greets me in Cadiz. While I sit at the promenade in front of a bar enjoying my white wine and some tapas. From the plate, citrusy and spicy scents waft towards me. I put on my sunglasses, gaze at the sea, and watch the surfers perform their tricks. I enjoy this and relax.

Upon applying this fragrance, the nose first encounters a warm citrus note. This is quickly followed by the spiciness of cardamom and rosemary. The perfume becomes a bit more intense because of this. The musk adds a creamy note to the scent, and the patchouli gives it a slightly dark touch.

The longevity and sillage are good.

This is a wonderful fragrance that can be well worn by men of all ages. This scent is suitable for warm days, whether at the office, during leisure time, or going out. It is a subtle fresh fragrance that definitely does not want to be intrusive.
This fragrance can also be well worn by women.

Those who enjoy a fresh aquatic scent should definitely check this one out.
