I think this perfume is a prime example of how the brilliant can be simple. It may be that it was inspired by the great perfumes of Chanel and Chloe (as described by previous reviewers), but it turned out really really good . I can remember trying it a few years ago and finding it pleasant, not then. Today, I appreciate it. I find it refreshingly light elegant. Refreshingly light in one word thought, meaning the perfume is a nice complement, not a statement in itself, thereby easy to wear. It already exudes that uncomplicated French lightness and elegance to me. For me, thanks to Sonnenfeerezension, it's finally a wearable powder scent. Pure powder scents were kind of too much. This one combines the qualities of No. 5, powdery, a bit creamy and even a hint of lipstick, but all very much in moderation and subtle

In the current time everything is different and you see to it that you visit as few shops as possible to have everything together what you need for life. Shopping trips to the neighboring Netherlands, where I got hold of many a great scent in Venlo, on ice for the time being. But the ice will melt again one day. Until then, just in the local drugstores on the hunt for tissue and Co also the fragrances a visit.

Longer time I had my problems with UdV fragrances. Here I buy the fragrances by my nose and not by brand or price. That is my attitude to life. But last year already I noticed that the brand but changed for the better. Now the days quite deeply bent and after short almost blind test, the box with the pocket flacon still from the very back brought out.

Alone the flacon in pocket format is worth its price. Although not suitable for on the road, but an eye-catcher. Also not kitschy, but kept simple. Bit noble.

But now to the content. At first sprayer came immediately a similarity to Chanel No. 5 over. Aldehydes mix with the floral scents and a tart trace of orange blossom. Then to that, a little powdery and then at a rapid pace, it's all there. Energetic and dominant but not loud like the oldie . Nor the scratchy additions of Aunt Coco are missing thankfully. All in all very well rounded and classy. Classic and without being obtrusive.

Had always had an eye on No.5, but it bothered me there always with Chanel some things that kept me from buying. Now I have found the fragrance that suits me. A little No. 5 but not so intrusive. Discreet, but with Pepp.

The durability with me with 3 1/2 hours fully in order

A bright and light scent in a golden bag

I'm a fan of the products by Ulric de Varens, although they could seem too cheap : there are many fragrances I like so much and one of these ones is Gold-Issime: it could be the perfect party scent.
First of all, let's take a look at the bag shaped bottle: maybe somebody could say that it's too girly, but I find it very nice and with that typical pretty "French touch" . Inside there's a bright and Golden scent very inviting.
So, let's spray and smell: immediately you are involved by a light flowery cloud with touches of Jasmine, orange blossom, ylang ylang. I didn't smell neither the aldehidic note I see in the composition nor the rice powder which might give the powdery charcater to this scent I 'd rather consider almost "sparkling".
Unfortunately, there's no base in this scent and it's a pity. I miss the presence of something deep , warm and longlasting such as musk or amber. For this reason, this scent is a quite evanescent pleasure.
Anyway, the price is very inviting and you can find in the drugstores or on the UdV site the packaging with the fragrance and the body spray at about 10€!
I don't know why (maybe for its golden-champagne colour?) I associate this scent to the parties and the New Years'eve , but for its lightness it could be worn in the summer nights.
So, girls of all ages, don't think that this scent is only for teenagers and put a touch of golden lightness in your life at a very affordable price!
