The Fruit of Sin in the Garden of Eden
I came across Musk Patchouli quite by chance; the strange brown egg was familiar to me from sight,
and one day I saw it by chance at BIPA and dared to spray it for testing purposes.
Hmmm, love at first spray!
There was no need for long consideration; I immediately went to the checkout with it.
I never would have thought that such an inexpensive fragrance could excite me so much.
It has everything I like:
Musk, which develops wonderfully on me, and I also love patchouli, even though it is not
listed in the fragrance pyramid.
Well, I have always been a musk lover... and I have a Gothic past, so there is probably also
a certain sympathy for patchouli.
With a bit of imagination, I can also envision a delicate, unsweetened rose, and I can certainly
detect peach, but not too sweet; rather, it’s a very ripe, soft, juicy, natural
peach.
Imagine biting into a very juicy, almost overripe peach, actually too ripe for sale in the fruit section. The juice of the peach runs down the corners of your mouth as you bite into it; it’s that juicy.
And all of this mixed with musk and patchouli creates a harmonious blend,
wonderfully warm, cozy, and simultaneously erotic.
The only downside is the initial alcohol note, which is normal in this price range, but it calms
down quickly. The fragrance notes appear as a whole, and there is no discernible development,
but that doesn’t bother me.
I like it just as it is, clear and simply constructed.
In older comments, I read that it polarizes strongly; skin chemistry probably plays a big role here.
Thank goodness I seem to be the right one for this fragrance.
It lasts about five hours on me, and I perceive the sillage as very close to the skin.
I can only say, I love Musk Patchouli, and when I found out it was being discontinued,
I drove around the city and inquired about remaining stocks in the stores,
and I managed to snag 10 bottles to stock up.
Now I never have to go without this wonderful fragrance again!
