(Moon)light Rose

I had tried this Van Cleef & Arpels proposal years ago through a 3 x 10 ml discovery set. Despite the fact that on paper it was supposed to be just the kind of fragrance I like, I did, however, at first glance get an impression of indifference, as neither the timbre nor the persistence of the scent impressed me. When I came across it fortuitously a little while ago, I must say that, on the other hand, it impressed me not a little. The sensation, let's say, is the well-known one that originates from Portrait of a Lady and combines rose, patchouli and other notes. Unlike its more famous sister, Moonlight Rose accentuates the lighter, soapy notes, giving the drydown a more carefree feel to the composition, although a vaguely vintage sense remains. Definitely a good alternative for those who love the genre and are looking for a lighter twist.

Botanical garden in roses area

Hello Together,

i found the fragrance by "accident" and have fallen in love directly. This fragrance reminds me of the Botanical Garden, when the roses bloom fresh in the summer. When I smelled the first time I thought it would be more suitable for the woman, but then I applied it and was fully surprised that it also stands me. This fragrance is very dominant by the strong rose and thus goes into the environment, if you go past one shows the fragrance who is the Dominanterer. Through the rose you seem more cheerful and thus get a smile given, because this rose just makes you happy even in autumn. The rose note reminds me a bit of Maison Francis Kurdijian Satin mood oud only that it does not contain oud.

Flacon: From Flacon has changed in the Van Cleef & Arpels nothing only that the flacon is black. It is kept quite basic and simple.

Silage: It has really a strong silage you smells one also by the whole room.

Durability: The shelf life is long lasting.

Good date fragrance for the evening

The fragrance starts out very Rosig but as soon as the rose note evaporates forms a beautiful raspberry fragrance with a hint of patchouli, but still I think the fragrance reminds me of an Oud duft although garkein Oud contain. I would still not use the fragrance for an all-rounder. I would wear it best in the evening on certain occasions such as: Weddings or in a restaurant.

also very suitable for men

The fragrance is very rosy at first, but once this rose note fades after a while, I find it super unisex. The fragrance has a fantastic longevity and you can smell it again and again throughout the day. The raspberry note is great and always present. The bottle is very simple, but makes a very classy and high-quality impression.
