A cold glass of iced lemon-green tea
This fragrance is basically all I want from tea and green scents to be, in a bottle. It's like mixing Armani Privé - Thé Yulong Gold Leaves, Wūlóng Chá Extrait de Parfum, and "Un Jardin sur le Nil | Hermès" altogether but only take the best parts from each of them.

Fresh, calming, no sharp edges. The sillage is moderate, not too weak, not too strong. At the beginning the citrus is stronger, I also detect some sweet floral. It gets greener as the time goes, also earthier as well because I started noticing the green tea note even more in the dry down.

Surprisingly this lasts for a long time! I would say 5-6 hours on my skin, and for a couple of days on my clothes. Not a monster like Wūlóng Chá Extrait de Parfum, but that's what makes this perfect to wear in any occasions.

Delightful
One of the most pleasant, easy going scents I have had the chance to try. It is refreshing, light, and uplifting. It is hard to say whether any notes are immediately prominent but it kind of reminds me of those cucumber water dispensers they have at hotels in a good way. Unoffensive yet intriguing and lasts at least 6 hours on my skin. The musky base at the end is a great way to end the journey through the greenish, clean freshness. Unisex leaning feminine, would be great in an office or to set the mood for a lazy summer day.

A beautiful slightly bitter green mint meets light tea impressions
Thé Amara is primarily a really great fragrance for the warmer days of the year. However, this scent can also be worn wonderfully on cooler days.

Here we have a really nice, slightly bitter green mint as the main player. By no means is it a mint that leans towards eucalyptus, if you know what I mean. The mint is truly beautifully perceived with a green undertone.
It even feels slightly sparkling at the beginning in combination with the bergamot.

When the fragrance was released, I was unsure whether I found it "okay" or good.
By now, I can clearly say that I think it’s good.
However, this does not surprise me, as I am generally a fan of Van Cleef & Arpels.

Along with the aforementioned mint and bergamot, we also have a light and pleasant pepper note. I also get the impression of smelling something like a type of tea, perhaps a matcha tea.

As time goes on, for me after about two hours, a pleasant rose comes into play.
Never, however, a classic rose that appears more feminine or one of those roses that simply comes at you with floral force. The rose feels pleasant, soft, and elegant.

Otherwise, especially towards the end, the rather clean musk is worth mentioning. Very light woody elements also resonate.

Nice thing!

You get what you see and what you pay for - H/S from 12 to noon
The Thé Amara is actually quite quick to review or describe: Besides the pepper and a more pronounced cedarwood note, everything listed in the fragrance pyramid is present - at a solid price of around €120-140. The only, but significant weak point: This thing lasts from 12 to noon.

Immediately after spraying, the Amara greets you with a lovely, fresh mint with floral sweetness. In the background, there's something green to be detected... musk? Hmm, I rather smell something "really" green like (oak) moss. Very subtle, but it's there.
Definitely a very nice, interesting opening!

Unfortunately, this really beautiful (!) fresh citrus note disappears again after just 20-30 minutes :-((
It then shifts to that DNA that accompanies us until the end after about 4-5 hours: a gentle, airy sweet pea and (water) rose, backed by musk and meager cedar.
Instead of "sweet pea," I would have guessed something like "water lily," but so be it.

The drydown turns out to be rather boring: The main players mentioned above (namely water rose, water lily, and musk) gradually fade away, leaving just a gentle, floral-sweet residue on the skin at the end.

----

Conclusion:
For around €130 for the 75ml bottle, you get a solid spring or summer fragrance here, which will likely appeal especially to women. I see it more on a woman than on a man, although it can certainly be worn by men as well.
The low longevity and meager sillage somewhat dampen the enjoyment and the rating. More pepper and additional wood would have really benefited the fragrance, possibly even a hint of ginger.

Solid 3+ as a school grade :D

The Stairway to Success
The scent was a blind buy because I was looking for a specific perfume that I missed with my choice of Thé Amara.

However, I was greeted by the freshest and cleanest scent I have ever smelled.

Almost daily, I sit to study in an old magnificent library building, in whose courtyard, according to a friend, one feels like in Oxford, and I am sure that Thé Amara is the right scent for this place. Citrusy, fresh, noble, and after about 30 minutes after spraying, also unobtrusive and discreet. The scent motivates me, it is serious and clears the mind. I also wear it for jogging and to the gym.

The bergamot stands out to me the most, with the tea being secondary. The sillage is only strong right after spraying, then it fades more and more.
So, the performance is really mediocre.

But that is exactly right for the library. You don't want to disturb anyone there, but if someone should come closer, you smell clean, fresh, elegant, and tidy.

Underwhelmed by the initial spray, but the dry-down's not bad. Smells like laundry detergent on paper, will have to see how it does on skin.

Mint and tea with citrus notes can’t disappoint even the most pessimistic of us. A happy, sunny composition that reminds me of LV’s P. Chill

Take all the best traits of Wūlóng Chá Extrait de Parfum and "Un Jardin sur le Nil | Hermès", then you'll get this.

The start is great, exactly what I would expect from the tea scent. Unfortunately it loses some notes during dry down and gets boring.

Briefly sharp with toilet-cleaner citrus, then refreshingly minty. Unfortunately the freshness fades, leaving a vague citrus-floral mix.

When summer finally arrives
when mint drops fall into the bergamot
the wind stirs the green tea bush
