Crystal Emerald Versace 2025

When I tried it first I was confused, I think it was nothing of what I expected at first I was hit by a wave of citrus and peaches, I was like huh? Is that it? Then it started to settle on my skin, I was wondering, I’ve smelt something like this before, what is it? Then remembered, Imagination!! This perfume has a bit of the dna of Imagination at the beginning, but the more it dries down, you will start to notice the shift, it becomes less citrusy, and more powdery, feminine and shampoo like, it also have this doll head scent to it. This perfume is a journey, but a nice one, I kept smelling myself over and over, it is so elegant and feminine, I absolutely love it! The performance on skin is outstanding, and I rarely say that as perfumes never last on my skin, definitely a new crowd favourite it is different from anything Versace ever released

This scent kinda gives me Barbie head vibes similar to glossier you which I really like. I get hints of citrus sorbet, freshness and warmth. For me it’s an easygoing everyday scent with a creamy dry down and a subtle masculine edge, like a freshly showered man. I don’t really get the fruitiness people are describing. The longevity is also surprisingly good compared to other Versace perfumes.

Tested this one out today. She's strong and a bit loud, and super similar to the OG Bright Crystal to me. Soapy and floral. I was hoping the fruit notes would pop out a little more, but for me they didn't really come through at all. Longevity is good. Just too similar to Bright Crystal to really need both.

The fruity start was indistinct but not bad, and quickly shifted to the floral notes. By 90 minutes it was in full dry-down, which just smells like cheap hotel shampoo.

In terms of performance it’s impressive. Scent bubble is moderate, so you can easily wear it in professional spaces, and so far I’m six hours in and the scent is still strong on both skin and sleeve.

Bottom line, if you like the drydown, it’s worth the price, but this one isn’t for me.

I have never really warmed up to Versace fragrances in the past. I had tested a few, but only Crystal Noir Eau de Parfum ultimately made it into my collection.
When ordering another perfume, I received a sample of 'Crystal Emerald', which was completely unknown to me until now, as I have been more drawn to Arabic fragrances in recent years.
I had no high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised while testing how much I liked it.
But now to the scent itself.. how does this emerald crystal smell?

Crystal Emerald starts off fresh, lightly fruity and floral.
Right after spraying, I perceive a very subtle bitter bergamot that gives the fragrance a pleasant freshness from the start. Peach joins in immediately, appearing sweet and velvety, harmoniously complementing the bergamot.
However, the fruits do not smell like fresh juicy fruits, but rather synthetic, which I usually do not like, yet here it has been executed in a very pleasant way.

The fruity combination is rounded off with a hint of pepper, and almost instantly the fragrance gains a powdery and soapy nuance from jasmine and rose.
The fruity and floral notes are enveloped by a soft white musk cloud, which gives the scent a creamy, clean, and very well-groomed character.
All together, it reminds me of a velvety, cozy bubble bath.

There is absolutely nothing to criticize about the longevity.
I can perceive it on my skin for many hours, and on clothing even the next day.

My conclusion:
'Crystal Emerald' has really surprised me positively. The fruity and floral notes are very well balanced and complement each other wonderfully.
It is a pleasantly soapy, thoroughly feminine and elegant scent that makes you feel fresh and well-groomed all day long.
Anyone who doesn't know it yet and is curious should definitely give it a try.
