Run of a mill fragrance

I'm wearing this for the first time ans these are my impressions: it does have some Eros on it, it feels familiar in the line. There is some soapiness and it has some leathery/smokiness on the drydown. Basically this is a collection of fragrance tropes that feel like just another fragrance you wouldn't write home about. A collection of generic tropes making a very generic frag.

Does it smell good? Yes. Will you like it? Yes. Will it perform, yes? Is it memorable? No! I lile it but one expects more from a middle east exclusive, this isn't worth the effort or the $$$ IMHO.

Test it if you find it and if you like it, go for it. If it's unavailable, you're good, you're not missing out on anything special.

Target group recognized, target group banned

Even though I was already well past party age when Versace's "Eros" appeared on the scene, I still know a few younger colleagues for whom this sweet Italian left his mark on a few summer parties and flirting memories. Quite a few of them were southerners - or even of Arab descent. That's why "Najim" now comes in handy to titillate and captivate these gentlemen even more... And it's a pretty tasty way to "play it Oriental-safe"...

"Eros Najim" is a tangerine spice dream full of dunes, sand and body milk. Very mainstream and accessible. Not overly complex or curvy. But reliable, delicious, arabesque and soft. Oud homeopathic or even just on paper. Shadows and rain clouds only very slightly hinted at. The cardamom in particular is a dream from the most famous 1001st night. In its best moments, it can almost compete with the original "La Nuit de L'Homme" by YSL. As a top note, it will catch a few votes. Everything around it is rather nice. But in the most positive sense. A soft warrior. More of a lover than a fighter. Almost a condensation of what we Europeans imagine to be "Arabian". As if everything negative, dark and sweaty has been filtered out of the Orient - or has been subjected to the finest Sicilian tie...

Longevity: 7-9 hours will get you through even a medium-haul flight...

Conclusion: accessible Arabian flanker from the Italian party boy... Neat, organic and oriental. Dubai sends its regards.

The best Eros?.......

When I first heard about this fragrance, I didn't think much of it...
Until I was in Dubai and bought this fragrance and tested it first. When I got home, I unwrapped it, sprayed it on my hand and then I had a WOOOOOW effect. I was immediately captivated by this fragrance.

This Eros starts with a nice sweet mandarin note with light woody accords in the background and after the first 15 minutes the mandarin fades more and more and we get a nice creamy, woody slightly sweet scent with light Eros DNA
This fragrance was a very big surprise for me and I would never give it up and would buy more at any time.

My conclusion to the fragrance is that you absolutely have to have tested it so that you can get a small picture of how good this Dubai Exclusive Eros actually is and here we unfortunately have the small problem too... This fragrance is not available directly here in Europe, which I think is a pity from Versace but if you have the opportunity to test this fragrance then do it and with luck you will also get this WoW effect.

A middle-aged gentleman...

When applying this fragrance, the first thing you get is something sweet and citrusy with a warm spiciness that makes this fragrance mature. This is followed by something woody and caramelly that gives the perfume a further sweetness. There is also something smoky. The vetiver gives this fragrance a fresh accord and the patchouli gives it a dark, deep twist. Which makes this fragrance really mature and masculine.

The durability and silage are good.

Here Versace has launched a fragrance from the Eros series that is not only intended for young men but is also suitable for men over 30. The ladies can also try it out, but have to accept its masculine character. This is a fragrance that works well on cold days and in the evening. During the day, it can be worn in the office, at lunch, while shopping or simply in a coffee shop, as well as in the evening in a club, at the theater, in a bar, at a dinner, a party or simply for two.

If you like a sweet citrusy warm spicy woody smoky dark deep caramel scent, this is the one for you. The only thing that bothers me at the moment is the price, which I think is just too high.
