Nightmare of myrrhe
tested thanks to a decanting in the sample format sold by maxhecke, I was able to discover the new releases of this collection which had allowed me to unearth some olfactory pearls.
the opening (rating 8/10) absolutely fantastic on the first 20 minutes which reminds me of the fragrant and deliciously oriental smell of incense sticks sold in stores, pleasant, light and comforting.
heart and base note (rating 4/10) the joy of smelling an exclusive smell was short-lived, the evolution after 20 minutes reminds me of references of the genres dior mitza / penhaligon clandestine Clara then a sweet gourmand side is added reminding me ysl m7 oud absolu perfumes already present in my collection.
after almost an hour I find myself with a smell similar to the raw material suave incense in lighter and less tenacious for a much higher sale price. what a disappointment.
the hold is insufficient considering the price, it barely smelled on my skin after 5 hours, the sillage is discreet, really the impression that these releases coincide with marketing pressures which take precedence over real research and innovation work in the field.
