If apple pie filling + a Moon Pie had a baby, it would be this
This is one of my favorite fall gourmands!
The bottle claims a "Ruby apple" note, but it's more of a Fuji apple - cider-y sweet, nothing tart, but still much more dimensional than a Red Delicious.
The apple note is enveloped in a cushy, creamy robe and finished with very soft and well-blended sugary-sweet spice (really does feel like a "crystallized ginger" as the bottle notes claim).
To me, it's a vanilla-flavored Moon Pie (a treat layered with soft graham cracker cookies, vanilla marshmallow fluff creme, and dipped in a vanilla frosted coating), but also injected with a little bit of apple pie filling.
It's not bursting with flavor, the spices won't awaken your senses (no burning cinnamon here) - but it's not meant to: it's something sweet, soft, and comforting to sink your teeth into - enjoying every last bite while huddled under a fluffy blanket, with a cozy candle on a rainy autumn night.
P.S. Longevity is excellent as far as mists go - I can still smell it after a few hours. For projection, it creates more of a "personal scent bubble" - but it's a softer fragrance profile in general, so it's great for what it's meant to be (cozy, not loud).
