Yves Rocher´s Summer fragrance
Aquarelles Vegetales Eau Fruitee pour l`Ete I bought used because I couldnŽt find a new bottle anymore. It belongs to the limited summer fragrances that I have got to know since 2011 with Jardin des Nymphes. I appreciate the Jardin des Nymphes very much and so I wanted to be able to include the Watercolour Vegetales, which appeared one year before, in my collection.
The whole series is clearly based on Escada's earlier limeted summereditions from the two-thousand-year period. Whereby they should certainly not be dupes, but at the beautiful summer-colored flacons and the fruity and cheerful scents are for me already the Escada scents as a model recognizable.
The YR summer scents existed for a long time, until three years ago with PopExotic (which I found terrible), and since then they have got a different look in a cylindrical bottle.
However, I found the early scents of this LE series best with Aquarelles Vegetales (2010) , Jardin des Nymphes (2011) and Retropical (2013). Afterwards the scents unfortunately decreased mostly except for a few exceptions in quality.
The same was true for the old Escada summer scents: The early ones from the nineties and two thousand meters were great and the flacons were coveted collector's items, the new ones I don't really find worthy of note.
Now a few lines on the actual fragrance Aquarelles Vegetales: The fragrance character is fruity and cheerful in summer. Sweet yes, but pleasant and not sticky-chemically sweet as it is today unfortunately modern.
The fragrance is compact and has no special development. Clementine mates with the beautiful passion flower that governs the event and something slightly citric is still present. All in all, the scents go well together and produce a harmonious fruity fragrance. Unfortunately, it doesn't last as long as I would like, but I like to spray it here. By the way, he lasts more than a day on fabrics. It is only very difficult to get and I could still get hold of a spare bottle. The beautiful red-pink bottle then comes into the bottle cabinet to delight the eye.
