From the Rock Crevice
During my last Rocher purchase, the friendly saleswoman included a cosmetic pouch and a "lavender scent."

Today, I remembered this nice gesture and set out to search for the "mild gifts."

Bags and pouches were inspected, and my husband, a former scout, got involved - and even the police poodle picked up the scent.

Finally, the scout unearthed the sought-after item - possibly from a rock crevice.
Eureka - Sherlock Holmes sends his regards.

But the scent is not hiding at all.
Surprisingly full and intense, the spray spreads out.
Uncharacteristic for Rocher.
A strong lavender soap settles on my skin - but more clean than fresh.
The orange blossom adds a warmer tone - and dims the pore-deep cleanliness a bit.
This benefits the scent, and a slight citrus note dares to emerge.
The core-soap start fades away, and Fleur becomes more compliant.

An astonishingly direct, almost loud Rocher - with a clear cleanliness statement,

Recommended for fans of this direction - for me, I prefer the usual Rocher subtlety.

P.S. In the heat, this Rocher has indeed become one of my favorites.

If only cats liked oranges!
Oranges. Oh how I love oranges in fragrances, because on hot days like today, they just feel good, as long as they have been well processed in the beloved little scent waters we all adore. Oranges are generally pretty great. They taste good, provide vitamins, and make people believe that they catch fewer colds in winter (and due to the imagined placebo effect or something, some actually become less susceptible when they have eaten a lot of oranges :D). Additionally, oranges look kind of cute with their round shape, especially when you draw a smiley face on them :D
Orange blossoms smell slightly different, but they also remind one a bit of oranges, being a little less citrusy, yet they smell just as wonderful, so I find orange blossoms just great!

It's hard to believe that cats like my tomcat see these round fruits as enemies of the state. Normally, they tend to avoid these citrus fruits, at least mine does. But now and then (probably when they are high from catnip), it happens that they want to push these fruits around again and sometimes even scratch them with their claws. Sometimes they even get stuck on the peel and curse when they get a full dose of sour scent that almost knocks them out. And then the real war begins when they get extra wild because of it, and you see all the oranges scattered around the apartment the next morning.

Uh,… I'm rambling again, aren't I? Well, let me get to the fragrance, which also offers oranges or rather orange blossoms, making it terrible for cats but rather refreshingly wonderful for us humans :D

The fragrance:
The fragrance starts off as expected, citrusy and quite fresh. At first, however, I smell oranges instead of orange blossoms. Only gradually do you begin to detect floral or "blossomy" notes, transforming the oranges into orange blossoms.
In the heart note, you primarily smell orange blossoms with a hint of "normal" oranges in the background. I still have difficulty recognizing the lavender; it’s almost as if this note is completely absent, but let’s wait and see...
No,… later the fragrance becomes noticeably weaker, and you continue to smell a mix of oranges and orange blossoms. Lavender seems to be missing or is probably just very faintly present in the background. A simple, nice fragrance!

The sillage and longevity:
Well, the fragrance has a projection like most citrus summer scents: unfortunately rather weak, even though the beginning is (very) good for a short time. It weakens in less than an hour and becomes close to the skin. It belongs to the fragrances that you can spray on more often in summer.
The longevity is also low, lasting only two to three hours (if at all).

The bottle:
The bottle is a simple, cylindrical vessel with slightly slanted "sides" (like a funnel) at the top. It is capped with a green lid. There is no label visible, as everything is printed directly on the bottle (or it’s like a film that has been attached to the bottle,… so it’s more like a label… oh it’s just so hot right now… :D).
You can see a beautiful image of orange blossoms and lavender, which adds a little charm to the simple bottle.

Oh yes, I liked the fragrance. But that was to be expected since I like citrus fruits in fragrances. Unfortunately, I felt like I could hardly smell the fragrance after just 30 minutes, as it became quite close to the skin very quickly. It evaporates rather quickly, so you could or should spray it on several times a day.

However, it offers a short-term but nice refreshment on such brutally hot days as today and ensures that you can breathe a little again even at 35 degrees :D
As you can see, the fragrance is best suited for really hot days!

If someone is looking for a more long-lasting orange scent (which doesn’t have orange blossoms), they might want to check out Concentré d’Orange Verte by Hermès, as this fragrance remains extremely refreshing and surprisingly long-lasting on hot days for me, although it is really very VERY citrusy :D

Well,… my tomcat isn’t bothered by this fragrance too much, by the way. First of all, as mentioned, the scent is rather weak, and secondly, it’s so hot that he’s totally flattened and prefers to sleep away the heat… the lucky one looks as carefree and naturally cute as always. And the fact that he doesn’t handle the extreme heat very well is proven by his meowing. Powerless from the heat, more than a "Mi" comes out of his meow when he looks at me, says "mi," and then immediately flattens out to sleep again :))

Freshener for the Handbag
I ordered Fleur dÒranger Lavande Petit Grain blindly from Yves Rocher shortly after its release. It's not expensive. The small bottle holds 20 ml, and I soon packed it in my handbag. And it’s well-placed there to be pulled out when needed after a long workday.
When my daytime perfume, which I applied early in the morning, has already faded away, and I’m changing in the locker room, this scent is the ideal freshener for the way home. It hardly clashes with any previously applied fragrance, making it very compatible. And it doesn’t annoy with artificial sweetness, which can happen if you’ve had a lot of stress and are heading home with a headache. Then it’s just right.
A simply constructed scent for a quick refresh, for "calming down," for a "slowly switching back to relaxation mode" fragrance.
The name says it all: fresh orange blossoms, subtle lavender provides a certain feeling of being well-groomed, and petitgrain adds a light bitter note.
It doesn’t last very long, but that doesn’t bother me here. In the evening after the shower, a different scent comes on.
An uncomplicated, yet fine little fragrance for on the go. Yves Rocher really did a great job with this.

Just for the Points
My wife has been a customer at Yves Rocher for years. With a customer card. You earn points for every purchase, and when you've collected enough points, you can choose an item from the selection for free.

During one of her recent purchases, it was almost time again, but a few points were still missing. So something had to be selected. The fragrance with the very catchy name caught my attention because it contains lavender, and so -Fleur d' Oranger Lavande Petit Grain- became part of my collection.

Fleur d' Oranger Lavande Petit Grain starts with a large portion of lavender. There are flowers but also the stems. After a while, something green peeks out from under the lavender. But only very subtly.

For about an hour and a half, I can hardly smell anything other than the lavender; only then does the orange blossom really come into play and increasingly overshadow the lavender, which, however, remains present for a long time.

At times, there is indeed a similarity to the new 4711 Remix Cologne, but they are not twin fragrances.

The longevity surprised me a lot; at 5:30 in the morning, I sprayed four times on my upper body, and I can still smell the orange blossom well at 1:00 PM.

Fleur d' Oranger Lavande Petit Grain once again shows that a good fragrance doesn't have to be expensive.

Beautiful orange blossom-lavender scent that offers one of the best price-performance ratios ever. Caution: very weak longevity.

Orange blossom in a beautiful, fresh Petitgrain and a hint of lavender. A cheerful creamy sun scent. Light, good & cheap. Highly recommended!

I love orange blossom and lavender scents.
This one is beautiful.
The orange blossom dominates.
Lavender is just a hint.
More of a body spray.

Exactly my style, but unfortunately low longevity. The scent is pure 70s for me and reminds me of my childhood, I have to stock up ;-)
