Misfortune and happiness
I think this was the first fragrance that I "ran after".
I ordered me the blue cedar blindly at the time, without knowing whether I would find him good at all. But with "cedar" I always get bright and even before it was one of my favorite fragrances.
Now the sweetheart was mine and I enjoyed the fragrance. However, he was with my tender teenage years now but somewhat heavy, adult and bulky. Yes, he also has what slightly musty, dusty, old in itself. I had not expected so! Nevertheless, it is a very special fragrance and in my eyes also unique.
Now a huge misfortune happened to me: the bottle shattered on the tiled floor in the bathroom! What a horror! Not only that my bottle evaporated along with its contents into nothingness, the whole house smelled intensely afterwards. Such a thing happened to me fortunately never again.
My grief was great. After years, I shot the big bottle on Ebay for 60 euros. So expensive he was never at Yves Rocher! But I had to have him again!
Since then I guard him. I spray him extremely rarely, for that he is much too heavy, as that I could carry him. But he somehow triggers memories in me. Blue Atlas Cedar, with the Yves Rocher charm, smells very special.
I know I didn't describe the scent, but I actually can't either. This mono note you have to test yourself. One likes it then or one does not like it. But fragrances that awaken memories, I always find particularly beautiful. Like a journey of thoughts...
