Only the name remained
Now I have the third fragrance, called Chèvrefeuille and as expected, it is also a fragrance that resembles my old fragrance of the name from the 70s only in small details. Fortunately I still have a not tilted ! over half full bottle of the original scent. Sure, the times and also I have changed. Do not wear many of the old scents anymore. However, the original scent was of such a strong expressiveness without being obtrusive, that the successors have a hard time. No. 2 of the name I got rid of after a short time, because despite proper storage it tipped and stank after a short time.
But only with the modern age further. Had tested it some time ago in the shop and I liked it very much. But I'm beginning to suspect that there is a different concentration in the sample bottles than in the bottles that come by mail. The scent consists only of honeysuckle and nothing more. Begins with it, continues with it and disappears with it. A scent that is there and then disappears. It is fresh and a good scent for the middle of summer, because you smell fresh and well-groomed with it. No other fragrances are there. But since I have honeysuckle in my garden, I think this one has only the name in common with the scent from nature and nothing else. Likes fresh scents in itself and Chèvrefeuille was always a direction that I liked and still like. After about 15 minutes...wow.... when usually the YR scents like to thin themselves within minutes......... the scent disappeared. A light breath still to sniff after one hour. But that was it. Suitable for the high summer, but please without high expectations. For the rest of the time for me only conditionally suitable, because I find the smell too weak.
