So fresh and clean!

While researching Zadig & Voltaire I found this at an amazing price, couldn’t pass it up, blind bought right away. I love it! It is so fresh and clean but not in an overly citrus way, like so many unisex summer scents are. The lavender balances the neroli out in a way that presents as Irish spring soap and soft clean laundry. In warmer humid weather it blooms into an ultra fresh musky sandalwood. In cooler weather it goes clean and sweet, more of the neroli stands out. The lavender never goes medicinal and stays soft but also doesn’t go all the way into bedtime bath sweetness. I do prefer the fuzzy fresh bubble I get from wearing it in warmer weather.

Longevity and sillage are moderate. It’s a really great office scent that stays out of the fruity floral arena. Honestly it feels truly unisex which I appreciate. Thinking of grabbing a backup before this disappears forever!

A different take on freshies

It is a fresh and nice fresh surprise. I don't really care for a citrus vibe but mixed with the lavender (my love ) and some wood and then you have an interesting fragrance for the summer. It is a little bit creamy as well.

It lasts on my skin 4 hours and on my clothes 7 hours which is quite decent I would say.

The only downside is that there is a blast of alcohol in the opening.

Great freshie with a creamy sandalwood base

Here's a review of the L'eau for All flanker from the This is Us! range by Zadig & Voltaire. I find the entire This is range of this brand quite cool and easy to wear and you can get a large part of this fragrance range for quite a fair price, including this fresh This is Us flanker. you can get 50ml for under €20, which is absolutely fair. If you like this mixture of freshie and clean scent, you could get a good fragrance here. This sandalwood base is also present here, which pretty much runs through the entire line. It's quite neat and conveys this clean DNA. Despite the low price, it doesn't seem to attract any attention, possibly also due to the lack of hype. This is a limited edition that is still available after 3 years.

I picked up a bottle and this chic bottle is similar to the original This Is Us! with a few powerful slogans printed on it. It's quite cool and looks modern. The fragrance comes in the usual box like all of this series In terms of fragrance, this edition is already close to the original. There is no need to be influenced by the Gris Charnel among the similar fragrances as this is out of place here. They share this clean, warm style, but nothing else. Here, of course, you also get a fragrance that starts quite fresh with bergamot and neroli. No 4711 neroli vibe, rather modern and here well interwoven with a fresh lavender note. This combination harmonizes. Underneath, you can already notice this original DNA that has been refreshed here. Sandalwood also kicks in early and takes on the leading role in the base. This is complemented by a soft, sophisticated combination of musk and cashmeran. A very soft duo that conveys this clean feeling and also comes across as slightly milky and creamy. In terms of type, it is a feel-good fragrance that gently accompanies the wearer and offers a well-groomed everyday DNA. Already convincing and the L'eau for All fits, because everyone can wear it.
Performance is as good as ever in this range. The base of musk and sandalwood is extremely long-lasting and the sillage in the first few hours is also very good. Great for everyday wear and people who like to smell well-groomed.

Overall, this release is not a must-have in my eyes, but you do get a great clean, sophisticated fragrance for everyday wear.

Wrong gift and still in love

I had actually wished for this is us - not L'eau for all. I love the combination of vanilla and sandalwood. I was all the more disappointed when I realized that it was the citrusy L'eau for all.
Nevertheless, when I wore it once on a trial basis, I liked it more and more every minute. Initially, it's really very citrusy, a great summer fragrance. The longer I wear it, however, the stronger the woody, warm note comes through. A novelty in my collection in every respect, as I'm more into vanilla and gourmand fragrances or the oriental Coco Chanel offshoots.
The only downside is the longevity. I notice it on my clothes for quite a long time, but those around me don't.
Nevertheless, I am very happy to own the fragrance. Just something for those days when I don't want to scent the whole room a la mon gerlain intense, for example.
