Gravitational Elegance in Lilac!
Now, I am by no means a direct friend of such sweet fragrances. But this one has "something"! What that is, I can't quite say - contrary to the name of the perfume - but I have not smelled such a combination in this form before. Until now. Strange. On one hand, it reminds me of a cat stretching "gracefully" on a light lilac fluffy blanket. On the other hand, an elegant, sophisticated prima ballerina with a heavily powdered complexion, her eyes framed in thick eyeliner, and her mouth painted with pastel pink lipstick. The tutu in the "matching" colors.
This is how a prima ballerina could exhibit feline traits, and a cat could possess the qualities of a diva-like prima ballerina. Everything flows seamlessly into one another. The "powdery consistency" of the scent, thanks to a lot of iris, cannot be dismissed by the "nose," the sweetness of vanilla and tonka takes on one of the leading roles, peonies contribute their floral touch, and woods round it off beautifully, making the scent undoubtedly "elegant." And also somehow wonderfully nostalgic. And modern as well. That says a lot! Not everything. And not just speaking of "girls." Also somewhat "dandy-like"... The late 19th century... And, "importantly"... all in powdery lilac! ;-))

Talking is Silver, Silence is Gold
I first stumbled upon the title, as I do not believe that girls should say everything - boys shouldn't either.

Many boast of their "openness" and "love for truth" and are in reality just tactless and hurtful.
Often, silence is more appropriate.
One does not need to add their two cents to everything.

However, the fragrance is by no means brash or tactless, but rather friendly and eloquent.
It speaks of blooming peonies, delicately bitter iris, and radiant musk.
The sweet tonka rounds off this fine scent.
This girl weighs her words carefully.

As the wise Chinese say: If a wicked word burns on your tongue - let it burn.

Do Women Talk Too Much??
Hey hey folks, welcome to a new fragrance comment from me, this time about Girls Can Say Anything by Zadig & Voltaire, a brand whose scents I don't particularly like, but I must admit that this fragrance isn't so bad after all!

So, girls can say anything… what I’ve had to listen to from you girls *sigh*
You're too short! You're too ugly! You're a joke! You have weird hair! You're ugly! Oops, I already mentioned the last one, but it happened quite often, argh! And when you finally express your own opinion, you're immediately labeled as a rude jerk, yeah yeah… it's so typical, aaaargh what I've had to endure because of you jerks… uh… because of you ladies! :DDD

It may sound cliché, but women are actually cruel!!! Yesss, that's true! :D Much more than guys could ever be, yeah yeah, that's how it is,… HA! The truth hurts quite a bit, doesn’t it? He he he he :DD Suffer, you meanies! :D
Hmmm,… I think I'm drifting off again instead of talking about the scent. Well, alright, let me quickly describe how the fragrance smells so I can get back to complaining, he he :D

The Scent:
The scent starts sweet and slightly powdery. The powdery aspect comes from the iris, even though this note shouldn't be very noticeable. But another part of the powdery perception comes from the tonka bean, which is quite prominent right from the start. It also radiates a certain "dark" sweetness, which smells nice, even though the scent in the background might come off a bit synthetic.
In the middle part, the fragrance starts to smell somewhat synthetic for me, but don't worry, that eases up a bit towards the base. This means the scent continues to smell synthetic in the base, but not as strongly as it did in the middle part.
At the very end, the scent remains sweet and powdery and actually changes only slightly from the beginning. It’s just a bit sweeter, as alongside the tonka bean, a bit of musk and more vanilla come into play, but otherwise, it continues to smell sweet and powdery. A scent that is generally quite okay, but neither spectacular nor particularly innovative.

The Sillage and Longevity:
I found the sillage to be above average to good, meaning it should be quite noticeable at a normal distance. The longevity is pretty good, as the scent easily lasts for ten hours.

The Bottle:
The bottle is shaped like a water bottle and is filled with a pink fragrance liquid. A large white label displays the brand and fragrance name in red letters. The cap is chrome-plated and has a crossed pattern. It looks solid and also adds a nice touch to the bottle. All in all, an above-average, nice bottle.

Sooo… I mentioned at the beginning that I don't particularly like this brand and that several of the scents I've tested so far haven't appealed to me. I don't find this scent particularly good either, but it is definitely better than scents like This is Him or Her. With its sweet touch, it falls in line with fragrances like those from Gaultier and many other mainstream scents, and accordingly, like many of these fragrances, it also comes off quite synthetic, which is the biggest criticism here, as it otherwise smells nice due to notes like tonka bean, iris, and vanilla. But at least this synthetic aspect isn't really bothersome.

Since the scent is sweet and powdery, it's more suited for going out, especially for younger people. And in terms of scent, I would categorize it for any season, so it works anytime, whether it's summer like now, where you're basically just sweating, or in winter, when you're normally throwing snowballs at perfumes (you deserve it!!!)! :D

You don't necessarily have to test it, but younger people might want to give it a look. That’s it from me, and I wish you all a lovely evening :)

A basic sweet and floral type of perfume, a youthful scent with pretty good projection and longevity. Awfully discontinued.

It doesn't smell at all like the listed notes, but rather like a toilet air freshener and 10 tons of sugar. A big step back for Z&V.

Sure, we can say anything, but that doesn't mean we have to buy it. Fruity, vanilla, synthetic. Why do I smell mango and coconut?

Why is this one rated so poorly? Woody, powdery, slightly sweet, and synthetic "clean scent." Signature character, "always wearable."

A sexy fabric softener scent for me. Mega artificial yet pleasant to wear. The name doesn’t fit at all.

Surprisingly good ... floral, slightly sweet, powdery, vanilla, and a bit spicy sandalwood ... I like it, not overwhelming but still special.

The scent pleasantly surprised me. It starts with iris, then tonka bean, vanilla - seductive, elegant, delicate, fresh. Great fragrance!
