Dark Red Smoky Mystique - Greetings from the Harz-er-Land
No, I don't mean the surrounding area of the German low mountain range, but the elusive Gunzburg scent.
I had to spray it on first, just a small amount, sniff... INCENSE!! garnished with nutmeg and roses as decoration. Wait a while, about 10 minutes. Sniff again (although the scent aura was clearly rising fine into my nose)--- ROSES!! Only ROSES!!.... No.... there is still the incense, not hidden or withdrawn.... I thought that at first.... It came delayed afterwards, along with finely grated nutmeg and a balsamic second resin.
Could it be myrrh? But this is not listed in the ingredients. Sometimes a scent component is simply "missing" in such lists.
I then waited at least two hours with a "Direct-On-Wrist-Smelling-Attempt" (I can still perceive the scent aura well, smokier and rosier now... but now I can't help it and... nose to wrist... a very herb-grassy vetiver underlies the entire scent bundle, still an impression of balsamic myrrh. In the midst of the dark velvet-red shimmering roses with a smoky-grassy radiance.
In the meantime, I sprayed a second sprayer on the inner elbow of the other arm to now describe the initial scent from the opposite perspective... first the roses, interspersed with vetiver, then, delayed, the incense with a "myrrhic" touch and the nutmeg...
Strange, strange. But let's wait. Maybe I'll know more later...
Mystical and deep and (still) elusive.... but perhaps a complete "clarification" is not even necessary. To not disturb the mystique...
