a beautiful briny beach
Phu Quoc has one of the most beautiful openings in Chapter 1: it is so clean and fresh that you want to drink it in. The green pepper is slightly spicy emphasizing the bright citrus notes and the greenness from the galbanum. The marine notes are a light, oceanic spray from a gorgeous green-blue beach. I wish I could smell more of the floral notes, but the heart notes in this perfume as it dries creates a briny, dark moisture like drenched driftwood on the beach.
The opening notes are so gorgeous and refreshing that I wish this perfume hung onto that vibe longer. The lasting scent is not offensive, but it is so different from the opening and transforms a clean, sharp scent to a damp, woodsy scent.
