Hippie Ghalyia House of Heartistry 2026

My friends and I have often talked about how if Eric had access to the atelier of Ensar or Henry Jacques, House of Heartistry would be catering to princes and sultans.

His perfumery is truly out of this world. He doesn't just blend materials, he sings them together with the emotional impact of a musician or painter. Hippie Ghalyia is one of the best things I've smelled this year, and one of my favorite Heartistry releases of all time.

This release is the first time Eric has used SQ ingredients in such significant quantity. Decades old narcissus, honeysuckle, jasmine, and violet paired beautifully with vintage rose from 1987. Only a madman would pair these with an overdose of blueberry hemp terpenes and an entourage of tropical Green Silani Wallapatta and musk, but the result is truly incredible.

On the first spray this is incredibly colorful. You get a kaleidoscope of green rose, sour blueberry hemp, leathery musk, and a bouquet of other florals. It's extremely diffusive and has a very fresh tropical and aquatic feel. Over time it settles it settles into this beautiful clean kinamic oud base.

In the attar version the effect is even more 3D. I get more musk and rose from the spray, but the attar just lingers and reveals so much more color and detail. I love layering both together.

It's difficult not to wear this one every day. I wish I had a lifetime supply of it!
