A waxy amber?
Now ambers can be complicated, either you go down the mainstream route and do the vanilla warm type of amber or you can do the real amber, smelling resinous and almost like fuel. But now ive discovered there is a third path. This shows what i didnt know was possible. When you get your nose on it you will try your waxy amber, but not a waxy amber like something else, this is a true waxy amber. When you first get this on skin you get a blast of that waxy amber i described, resinous bee wax mixed with real amber, a magical experience. Its not only waxy but also spicy, warm spices flow out throw the scent and makes you think of a spice blend of cinammon and cardamom.
When the scent is at its hearts, its full of gasolineish amber and borneo oud, showing an earthy and strong pugent oud blast. Its dirty and still has that spice that we all know and love. Its warm and rich, spicy and almost gourmand but its not too spicy or too sweet, it has that perfect blend of spice and sweet. You can almost catch a lingering creaminess, a sweet creamy sandalwood peaks through, but at last its a creamy and earthy at its heart.
When it has layed all spices and sweetness is gone, now its just earthy wood. The oud stands through and holds its ground, you can feel a lot of resinous waxy amber still shining through, and thats where the name comes from, a celestial amber, one beyond this earth
