Peony Bouquet

I bought this perfume as a blind buy simply because I liked the bottle, and now I have a new everyday scent :)! It smells a bit like a floral shower gel, beautifully reminiscent of peony and lily of the valley. In the opening, it is very, very floral and then becomes a bit soapy, like freshly washed. The longevity is relatively good for the price.

Nice Shower Gel Scent

I have been circling around this fragrance for a long time, simply because I really like peony notes. Rose is usually too heavy and intense for me, but I think you can't go wrong with peonies. So I decided to order this EdP, especially since it was on sale for under €20.

Fleur de Pivoine opens with a spritz of mandarin. To be honest, I can only detect the black currant very faintly. After the citrusy opening, the peony and a light marine note quickly join in, and it stays that way for a while. In general, the top and heart notes remind me of a nice shower gel.
The dry down then becomes quite normally musky with just a touch of green.
Fleur de Pivoine slightly reminds me of the flanker of L'eau d'Issey, which also has Pivoine in its name, but the Lagerfeld is spritzier instead of pear-heavy.

All in all, I perceive the scent very positively, but the longevity is abysmally poor, especially for a supposed Eau de Parfum. It lasts only about 3 hours. But for the price, you can easily reapply.
