Too little chocolate
Halt! Those expecting a gourmand are asked to revise their expectations.
The leathery part is already well perceptible from the opening along with a dark, "dusty" chocolate (as if it were cocoa) that, alas, almost immediately ends up in the background.
This first phase also sees a shy saffron that gives a bit of liveliness and brightness.
As time goes on, however, a distinct hint of leather always lingers, suppressing some of that chocolate that I had hoped would take center stage.
In the finish it softens and mellows a little and a hint of ambergris also emerges.
As a happy owner and lover of Fôm, I expected great things from this third creation born of the collaboration between Teo of Profumix and Pax, but I was not particularly impressed.
