Sugar Kisses Lorenzo Pazzaglia 2023

Sugar Kisses completely surprised me. Before investing into a full bottle I was 100% sure that this would be a ultra-sugary super synthetic waxy mess.
Can report that Sugar Kisses is NONE of that. Actually it's quite sophisticated, especially in the dry-down.

Sugar kisses opens with a blast of sweet, lactonic cacao butter, but it's not waxy or buttery. The lactonic facet is also well-balanced. This develops immediately less sweet on the skin...much less sweet!

The dry down is not gourmand on my skin: Sugar kisses develops into a vanillery, musky, slightly soapy caramel / floral. I can still sniff the cacao butter facets, but it's slightly powdery as well. .

Overall this is very classy and pleasant, also Sugar Kisses is more original than other gourmands on the market such as its brother Van Exstasyx and Bianco Latte.

P.S. I am SICK and TIRED of influencers claiming this is BEAST MODE. It is NOT, This is very much a skin scent and doesn't last over 5-6 hours.
In addition, this is not a pink sugar dupe, I have owned 4 versions of that scent, this is not even close to the burnt licoricey mess that is THAT perfume.

Strong, very sweet and gourmand to the max. At the opening It smells like sweet candied dates, toffee and vanilla cream sprinkled with brown sugar. With soft undertones of cocoa butter and a touch of boozy rum. There's a synthetic sunscreen vibe coming from the coconut but it's light. The faint floral notes started to appear about 20 minutes into the dry down but they eventually became smothered by the all the sweet and gourmand facets. I don't notice them at all at complete dry down and I don't get any of the chocolate notes, citrus zest, or hazelnut.

On the strip it's a gourmand blast as well. However, It's much creamier and denser than it is on my skin. A very thick vanilla-cream paired with a robust sweet toffee candy, sweet date and a bolder boozy rum. The notes of cocoa butter are still distinct. Surprisingly I don't much of that sunscreen note from the coconut - which is interesting.

Overall, a very creamy and tooth-achingly sweet gourmand. A strong and rich fragrance that leaned more candied toffee-date. However at complete dry down became more of a sweet vanilla cream, cocoa butter, with soft boozy notes and a more tame toffee-date. It reminds me a lot of Van Py Rhum with the boozy vanilla aspects at total dry down. I prefer this on the strip more than on my skin just because the boozy notes project stronger and I don't get any of the synthetic sunscreen like I do on my skin.

Many times to understand a fragrance you need to know where its idea comes from.
This is one of those cases.
Sugar Kisses was born as a gift. A gift to Sveva, a wonderful little girl, for her eighth birthday.
In my opinion, in this gourmand creation there are all those elements that take us back to childhood, full of love and beautiful things, or at least that's how it should be.
Notes of caramel, milk cream, chocolate, dates and hazelnut on a vanilla veil make it soft, sweet but not cloying, a source of well-being and which brings a smile.
A sweet kiss sent with the hand of this little girl, which melts our hearts and at the same time envelops us in a comforting cloud of tenderness.

This scent is milky, creamy, sweet-sour, vanilla-like,
I smell Heliotrope, Tonka bean, vanilla, milk, cream, marshmallow, this is simply a feel-good fragrance, how can something smell so sweet and delicious at the same time, I am simply in love, this scent is meant for those who like sweet, gourmand, slightly heavy fragrances. When I smell it, I immediately get more saliva in my mouth because it is sooo sweet and smells delicious, yes, one must not overdo it, not too much to detect, think of other people. A beautiful, sweet, feminine fragrance.

So if you are looking for a scent that smells like a candy stand at a fair, then you are exactly right here. It smells like a caramel candy with a hint of cotton candy. A very nice, pleasant sweet fragrance that I would love to smell all the time. The longevity is also very good, and I can still smell the fragrance on my jacket or in my hair after 2 days. My favorite fragrance so far.
