Exciting Development of a Fragrance
Luxe Nightlife is a fragrance that initially confuses me - and then wins me over. The opening is extremely floral. Gardenia, jasmine, and carnation are in the spotlight, giving it a very feminine, almost elegant aura. For my taste, at first, it’s almost too floral, almost like a classic women’s fragrance with a strong presence.
However, after a while, the picture changes significantly. The floral notes recede a bit, maritime accents and a hint of patchouli bring more depth. Sandalwood provides a soft base - and then comes the moment I’ve been waiting for: coffee and caramel slowly make their way forward.
And that’s where it gets exciting. The coffee is not bitter or dark roasted, but pleasantly soft, combined with a sweet, slightly creamy caramel note. This suddenly gives the fragrance character, warmth, and a certain nighttime atmosphere that fits the name. From this point on, I really like it.
The performance is solid, longevity is good, projection is noticeably stronger in the opening than in the drydown. Still, for me, this very feminine start is the turning point.
A special, rather rare combination with a strong transformation. Really beautiful in the drydown - but the floral opening decides whether you love it or leave it.
