Not too fluffy
Actually, I don't smell the croissant, definitely not the marshmallow, not the cinnamon... I mainly get the bergamot, sandalwood, jasmine and musk. It is not creamy to me at all, rather woody, and a tad bit spicy in the opening. Much less fluffy and feminine than I expected, sadly. Not bad but I had imagined a fluffy cloud made of freshly baked croissant and almond cappuccino.

Sweet Winter Scent
Synthetic, sweet, milky, creamy, and unique - if it weren't for Intimate Silhouette and "Milk | Commodity." I can only recognize differences between the scents in direct comparison. I can't pick out individual components. A cozy scent for cold days that I really like. If I could choose, I would wish for Milk in the bottle of Lost In A Dream at the price of Intimate Silhouette. Then it would be perfect.

Cozy Sundays
Cozy Sunday vibes, I could use more of that in my everyday life! A scent that is comforting, creamy, silky-sweet.

I remember when Corakirsch brought the fragrance release to my attention; somehow everyone seemed to be on the hunt for THE milky-creamy scent, if they hadn't already discovered it in "Blanche Bête - Eau de Peau | Liquides Imaginaires".
A week before Christmas, I was sitting at the hairdresser's on Saturday morning, waiting for the color to set, and I ordered it blindly!
How untypical of me, but one knew how quickly it would be sold out again at Navitus.
Then it was: long wait.

I already have "Venom of Love | Navitus Parfums" (for me a lovely sweet-oriental cherry) and recently got "Baklava Royale | Navitus Parfums", which I expected NOTHING from and had the worst fears that it could be an oriental honey bomb, which thankfully did not come true.
Now "Lost In A Dream | Navitus Parfums" arrived; here too, I had no expectations left, as it had long been harshly criticized on Fragrantica with the accusation that it smelled too much like Milk, which I do not know, and where are the promised pastry notes???

About the scent:
The sweet mandarin fades very quickly and I strongly smell "Replica - By the Fireplace | Maison Margiela" without that intense autumn smokiness, but I perceive cinnamon chestnut with marshmallow sweetness;
the bright spicy-sweet creaminess of This Is Her!.
The scent consistency becomes more liquid like the Cleopatra bath from tetesept, but less sweet, warmer, and spicier due to the cinnamon.

I can guess what is meant by the croissant accord, but it lacks the crispy buttery quality that defines this pastry; the café-croissant-snacking vibes that many expected (me too) are absent, as the scent is not gourmand for me. Maybe it’s more like a brioche roll dipped in milk coffee, "pastry-like", without being truly edible.
No one would sit next to you and say: "Oh, you smell like pastry and coffee!" Still, it develops sweet-creamy, really quite laconic, though not overly so, even though the Cleopatra bath milk vibes lean in that direction.
I find "Blanche Bête - Eau de Peau | Liquides Imaginaires" to be similarly creamy, but I am glad that "Lost In A Dream | Navitus Parfums" does NOT have that strict "dirty muff" and baby bottom vibes that I unfortunately perceived on some days with "Blanche Bête - Eau de Peau | Liquides Imaginaires".

I can understand that many are disappointed, as these vivid accords in fragrance pyramids create (false) expectations, like croissant, ice cream, banana bread, almond cream, etc.
The environment does not really perceive specific scent notes or accords anyway; often, when I wore something sweet, people around commented with "Hmmm, vanilla!", even though the fragrance might list chocolate, cotton candy notes, marshmallow, or similar.

For me, the scent did not fail, even though I was prepared for the worst. I used to like This Is Her! and "Replica - By the Fireplace | Maison Margiela" was too smoky for me in the long run, even though it is well made, I also like milk baths :)
Therefore, I find it very pleasant to wear!

Blend or Unique?
I was almost hoping for a dupe for Blanche Bête, as many compare it to that on Fragrantica. "Blanche Bête - Eau de Peau | Liquides Imaginaires" is notoriously very expensive, so an alternative would not have been uninteresting for me. So, I acquired a sample of "Lost In A Dream | Navitus Parfums" through a sharing.

Now to the most important point for me: Can it replace or even surpass Blanche Bête? Unfortunately, for me, the answer is no. I applied both side by side to have a direct comparison. But Blanche Bête is simply unbeatable for me; everything feels perfectly balanced, the sandalwood in the base is soft and never scratchy. I find it hard to describe the exact difference; for me, Blanche Bête is rounder, warmer, brighter. Lost in a Dream unfortunately has a slightly piercing facet that I can't overlook.

To be honest, I don't really pick out the described croissant note, but I can guess which one it is supposed to be. At first, I mainly smell Hundred Silent Ways Extrait de Parfum mixed with a bit of "Blanche Bête - Eau de Peau | Liquides Imaginaires"
Later, a bit of "Oud for Greatness | Initio" joins in the background. After about an hour, it becomes hardly perceptible to me. Either I've become nose-blind or it's really not as long-lasting as hoped. I think anyone who likes Nishane - 100 Silent Ways and Oud for Greatness will also like this one, but I will stick to the sample for now and maybe eventually get the white beast :)

Edit: Okay, somehow I felt guilty leaving this fragrance as I described it. The comparison to Blanche Bête is there, but I don't think one can say that if you have one, you don't need the other. I gave it another chance and must say that I find it better and better. I now also own Milk by Commodity, which it is often compared to, but for me, Lost in a Dream is significantly more complex and lasts longer (even though I have Milk Bold). The synthetic, slightly scratchy note is something you either have to like or tolerate, but this facet is only present at the beginning. Instead, you get a creamy, milky, cloud-like sillage throughout the day that caresses you and clings extremely well to clothing. Those who seek that will love the fragrance, even if the promised croissant note is not distinctly detectable. I'm even at the point where I would consider getting the fragrance!

It’s a slightly milkier version of This Is Her by Z&V or Commodity Milk. The pastry opening lasts maybe 30 secs.

What Commodity creates as bearable, is pretty creepy here. It stings, it's extremely synthetic, needs something that feels analgesic.

Creamy, silky, and slightly milky, like a delicate blanket, and for me, not too much and not too sweet

Leans more towards Nightmare than Dream; milky-creamy, sweet-spicy. A combo that makes me feel nauseous.

Zeitgeist where to? A pungent-sticky ambrocenide bomb, fermented lactonic-spicy synthie pseudo-gourmand. An unbearable steam hammer.

I really don't understand the reviews. It's not that bad at all.
Sweet. Creamy. Potent.

Commodity Milk with a splash of Xerjoff Italica. Soft, fluffy, slightly lactonic, lightly floral, a bit sweet, "airy"... I like it.

Lost my dream. Sounds so beautiful. For me, a strong coffee powder note. Just a dry affair.
