Great Boozy & Gourmand(ish) Scent
Just got into Navitus XO Brandy and man… this one’s grown-man cozy with a boozy twist. I believe it was created by Dominique Ropion for Navitus Parfums (they’ve been teaming up with big-name noses lately), this scent leans into that warm, sweet, slightly spiced vibe without going full sugar bomb. I immediately get hit with brandy and cinnamon right away—it’s got that same smooth opening energy you find in Angels’ Share by Kilian, but XO Brandy keeps it a little more grounded and wearable day to night in my opinion. Then it slides into a syrupy plum and immortelle combo that kinda reminds me of a softer Straight to Heaven, but with less edge and more comfort. The dry down’s all about oak, vanilla bourbon, and patchouli—it wears like a warm hug from someone who knows what they’re doing. If you’re into boozy gourmands that don’t scream for attention but still turn heads, this one’s worth checking out.
