At night when the Orient awakens...
Pure Orient...Should be exactly mine, but unfortunately it's not, because the scent is too masculine for me personally, but I'll get to that later..
The fragrance is great, a feast for my nose. I see images in my head of Arabian sheiks all surrounded by a perfume cloud of 1001 night spices and delicacies. Dense and almost sultry, the scent spreads through the air as they flit past me almost silently in the evening under the oriental sky. My ever-present longing for the Orient is 100% awakened.
The opening has it all. Pistachios and cardamom, with the pistachios definitely in the foreground, are super strong and almost burning. A strong tart saffron note hovers like a thick blanket over the other spices. I'm not a big fan of the opening, but the drydown is a desert dream. In the drydown, the scratchiness disappears and the fragrance becomes sweeter and softer. A stunning mild honey note with a great dark tart rose caresses my nose. I have never smelled roasted nuts as a fragrance before but the nuts give the scent something very special in combination with a tart date note. I can't stop sniffing the fragrance. The fragrance has an insane progression where I really perceive every note from opening to base ..
In the base, sesame is very perceptible and vanilla gives the fragrance a touch of sweetness..
If I were a man, I would buy this fragrance immediately. For me it is an oriental masterpiece but in my opinion too harsh and too spicy for a woman, but that is purely a matter of taste.
