Sensual Rose with Oriental Spices & Sweetness
Once again, a review of an Ojar from me. After "Ciel d'Orage (Eau de Parfum) | Ojar," here is another fragrance that hasn't had a review yet. A sign that these scents are indeed flying under the radar. I can say it again and again: Absolutely great quality with unique fragrances that, in my opinion, simply stick in your memory. The price is excellent, especially when you buy the fragrances with a significant discount. In this case, you can get 100ml for just €100 instead of €200. Even the MSRP is not completely inflated, as you get a lot, including outstanding performance. This is already my 4th from this brand after "Stallion Soul (Eau de Parfum) | Ojar," "Wood Whisper (Eau de Parfum) | Ojar," and "Ciel d'Orage (Eau de Parfum) | Ojar." I still want to test Infusion Velours, Red Redemption & Halwa Kiss, as they sound really exciting.
For each EdP, there is also a perfume oil. The manufacturer recommends using the oil during the day and the EdP in the evening, as they are said to complement each other wonderfully. I'm not much of a fan of oil, so I only own the EdPs.
As I have already mentioned in other reviews of this brand: Packaging, bottle, and atomizer are top-notch. The bottle is made of great material and well-crafted, and the atomizer is dreamy and buttery smooth.
As the name Desert Rose suggests: This is a rose fragrance. The color of the bottle also fits perfectly with this scent: Red, like a beautiful sensual rose. I really enjoy rose fragrances, and this note can also be absolutely interesting for men. I have been searching for wonderful sensual rose fragrances for a while, and with this Ojar, I have found one and am absolutely happy with it. Even though nothing particularly sweet is listed in the pyramid, it is very sweet, especially in the base. The rose note here slightly reminds me of "L'Homme À la Rose | Maison Francis Kurkdjian," but here it is much more sensual and geared towards the evening. Additionally, you get a wonderful oriental saffron spice and smooth jasmine, which is not too feminine. The name Desert Rose fits well, as this rose feels very warm. In the base, there are a lot of sweet notes, a mild lovely leather note, and of course, plenty of soft woods. Overall, it is very sensual from start to finish and also very pleasing, without being too ordinary. It also deserves to be called unisex, as I believe rose is for everyone.
The performance is already impressive, like all the Ojar fragrances I have tested. 4-5 sprays have enormous projection and last comfortably over 10 hours. It is wearable in everyday life, but best suited for the evening. Due to this warm DNA, the charm unfolds better at dusk and darkness.
In conclusion, I can say: I am glad that I found this fragrance. A wonderful sensual rose scent like I haven't had before, especially since MFK Oud Satin Mood can be overwhelming in some situations. They are somewhat heading in the same direction: rosy, oriental with a lot of sweetness.
