Another "inspired by BR540 and Oud for Greatness" scent
There are a lot of familiar things about this scent. At the same time, when I spray it, I think of both Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum and Oud for Greatness Eau de Parfum , this feels like some kind of combination of them with added roses.

The scent is warmer and more multifaceted than Oud for Greatness Eau de Parfum and its metallic aroma is missing. The scent is tamer, and not at all as sweet as Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait de Parfum or even Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum . It misleadingly feels like there is Saffron in the scent, because the aroma is so similar to how it performs in the aforementioned scents. The earthy aroma in this scent undoubtedly comes from the combination of Patchouli and Oakmoss and is softened by the rich Rose, while Vanilla brings just the right sweetness to the scent without being sticky and medicinal. The aroma is rich and yet airy. Sometimes I miss it more depth and character, so that it would clearly stand out, and sometimes I would like it to be clearly more sophisticated, perhaps clearly more feminine. Somehow it feels like the scent is trying to be too many things at once.

I don't like Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait de Parfum and even less the OG version or Oud for Greatness Eau de Parfum , but still especially BR540 Extrait is a phenomenal creation. Red Redemption Eau de Parfum is not unpleasant or bad in any way, but this style is just so overdone. I don't get anything interesting out of it anymore. If you have tried all possible variations and combinations of these scents and haven't found one you like, this is worth testing, but there is nothing groundbreaking here, nor anything that would clearly set it apart from the others. Unfortunately, this is not a clear rose-patchouli scent, but one interpretation of the BR540 and Oud for Greatness category. Even if I love rose scents and I want to collect them all, I don't need this one. Btw, I don't have any idea how in earth this has some similarities with Atomic Rose Eau de Parfum .

The scent is completely unisex, has good longevity and projection, but is more subdued than the other three fragrances mentioned. The blend is balanced and it doesn't feel unpolished. When rating the scent, I didn't think how copied is the scent profile since I don't have time to check out them all and the release date of each.

Thank you for reading, I hope you liked my review.

Delicately annoying
Safe but strong,
Sorry but not sorry.

Feminine Middle Eastern muscy rose. High quality scent with lack of originality.

Red pepper adds some sharpness. Even more blood orange could have twisted it to the fresher side, made it more unisex and contemporary. Feels too safe, old lady vibes. Boudoir in a desert.

Stays well and has a great sillage, get more sympathetic and less pushy in a time.

But feels still delicately annoying, please get me out of this powdery boudoir!

Wonderful sweetness meets elegant rose
Some fragrances are simply at the right time in the right place.
Everything about this scent works for me. I love blood orange and have been searching for a competent fragrance that delivers a beautiful sweetness of blood orange.
I have found it.
Paired with the rose, it creates a beautiful harmony that I just can't get enough of. This fragrance is a long-awaited Oriental dream that has come true for me!
Wearable in almost any weather and situation. For me, it's the best all-rounder in my collection and definitely my find of the year.

Great Modern Rose Scent
Next up is Ojar. I've known this Red Redemption for a while, and it's definitely worth testing if you're a rose fan or specifically looking for a great modern rose scent with light oriental vibes. I don't see much similarity to Baccarat Rouge, maybe just a hint in the first few minutes. It reminds me more of a rosy version of Oud for Greatness. In any case, it's a great modern fragrance that I wanted to write a few lines about, as it could be a scent that interests many. Personally, I won't be buying this, as I already have many alternatives that go in a similar direction. I find the quality of Ojar fragrances to be very, very good, and especially with a small discount, you get a good deal when it comes to high-quality niche scents. The MSRP for these fragrances is €200 for 100ml, €50 for 15ml. This brand has a great range, and there are wonderful scents for just about everyone.

Overall, you get a wonderful rosy-oriental fragrance, lovely packaging, and a great bottle with beautiful glass. The bottle feels great in the hand.
As mentioned, many see this as a relative of Baccarat Rouge, which you can also find among the similar fragrances here. I don't think so at all. In the first few minutes, there's a light vibe from blood orange and a spice that leans towards saffron, but not too much. This vibe also disappears quite quickly and, in my opinion, heads towards Oud for Greatness. Of course, it's much softer due to a high rose content. This is a fragrance that prominently features rose. Thus, it also has slight similarities to "Atomic Rose (Eau de Parfum) | Initio," which impresses with a wonderful spicy oriental note. The blood orange in the top note also provides pleasant juicy notes. Patchouli joins the rose, harmonizing very well with the rose and the oriental spice. Amber, clean musk, and vanilla have also been added. This combination rounds off this creation, and even in the dry down, you get a pleasing scent that is easy to wear. Overall, for me, it's a great blend of appealing rose, oriental spice, and many facets that soften this fragrance. It can be worn on many occasions, as it feels high-quality and not too playful. For those who find scents like Oud for Greatness too intense, this offers a much milder version. This fragrance is best suited for everyday wear and evenings on days when it's not too warm/hot. Additionally, it's absolutely unisex due to this blend of rose and oriental spice.
The performance here is really good. The sillage in the first 3-4 hours projects very well, and even later on, it remains a pleasant companion. The longevity reaches the 10-hour mark, making it a really good performer.

Overall, it's a great fragrance that I can absolutely recommend. You get a wonderful blend that comes across as very interesting.

BR 540 En Rose
A few weeks ago, one of my favorite YouTubers showcased the fragrance in a video and mentioned, if I remember correctly, that it is a somewhat more mature version of Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum. I really like BC, so I was intrigued and added a sample to my order at a perfume shop. It arrived today, and of course, it had to be tested right away.
Right after spraying, I definitely perceive the typical Baccarat Rouge DNA, but it is accompanied by a rose that I find quite dominant. Red Redemption Eau de Parfum feels overall fresher, not as sticky sweet. For me, it’s a pleasant scent for everyday wear, but personally, it is a bit too rosy for my taste. As it developed, the rose became even more noticeable and then receded a bit in the drydown, where I again perceive more of BC 540. I had actually imagined it to be more woody and darker, probably also because of the name.

I don't fell it at all, very sweet, rosy and some citrus. Annoying in the long run and overall rather feminine

Reminds me of a fresh version of BR540 with citrus, bright rose & soft musk in the dry down. The vetiver-patch combo is nice. Still a bit overwhelming.

A light, airy rose with BR540 vibes: a bit sweet, fresh, metallic, slightly peppery, and green.

A cardboard-sweet rose + a fruity blood orange - plus vetiver & patchouli - somehow doesn't fit together for me.
