A Song of Flowers and Honey
When I read the fragrance notes, I knew right away: I have to smell this! The name “Melos” is ancient Greek and means something like “song” or “melody.” The question remains… An evergreen or a one-hit wonder?!
The perfume opens with a distinctly noticeable honey note and rose scent. A bit sweet, a bit gourmand, a bit floral. Patchouli gives it depth, but in a way that is pleasant to my nose.
The longevity on my skin is about 7-8 hours, and the sillage is also very good. I perceive neither sweat odor nor an overly earthy tone here. Presumably, my skin carries it very well. With a simple yet very beautiful bottle, it looks very appealing on the perfume shelf and is especially inviting to wear in spring/summer.
Conclusion:
I understand that it may not have only fans among fragrance enthusiasts. On me and my skin, it performs excellently. In the end, honey remains with a hint of patchouli, and I love it!
