Prin / Aran
Perfume for fans of heavier and dark fragrances like the works of Josh Lobb from Slumberhouse (especially the Norne, Sova climates). Personally, I consider Prin Lomros an outstanding creator, who think that if he is not already, it is a matter of a short time (if he does not crumble) until he becomes a cult creator in these areas. Personally, I support him very much and classify him in my perception in the 3rd best of the best fragrance makers who move me. He has tremendous gift and skill, and he makes great use of them.
In Aran, Prin explores his favorite style (animal-incense) and invites us to a charmingly dark journey deep into the jungle of Aran อรัญ (Thai word for forest), or more specifically Himmavanta, the mythical forest surrounding the sacred Mount Meru (the center of the world in Buddhism). From a few excerpts quotation: 'This forest is inhabited by mystical monsters, demigods, and will also be the place where the Nariphon tree is found, which bears fruit in the form of young girls.'
It is a journey into a dense fantasy land full of creatures and plants that have never been seen before.
Beneath the lush green canopy lurks the leather scent of unparalleled animalism, with powerful doses of cybet and castoreum enhanced by real goat hair extract - animal lovers, this could be the new holy grail. The raw flesh is perfectly balanced with both the wild, herbaceous and earthy green notes and the strong, spiritual richness of incense, warm and uplifting. In its blend of nature and supernatural, flora and fauna, comfort and danger, Aran is like an ancient folklore to wear - a fragrance with deep mythical power.
Aran is strange, dark and brings back primal memories of cavemen.
The fragrance refers to the beastly shadows of the thickest forests. ”The fragrance contains goat hair extract, civet, oakmoss, oud, mushroom extract, tobacco and more.
