A no-nonsense animalic musky fragrance

Onthamara is a no-nonsense animalic musky fragrance built on Thai Oud, Amber, Incense, Castoreum, and Siberian Musk, etc. It's very warm, resinous, rude, rugged, dark, chaotic, and provocative with its animalic facets.

The meaning of "Onthamara" in the Thai language is “Darkness Devil”, True to its name.

This fragrance doesn't care based on its unapologetic attitude in the opening. However, it won't be offensive for those who enjoy or appreciate animalic, musky fragrance. Then, after like some hours, as the scent evolves, it gracefully transitions into this beautiful warmth of smoky incense. It's earthy, woody, resinous, and musky with a touch of floral notes. The animalic facets linger beautifully throughout the entire wear.

The whiffs of warmth himalayan amber, smoke, spices aroma, and other elements are insane. They all come together to light like a hit of sacred smoke swirling out of an incense burner. This one stays on skin for a long period of time, and it won't leave you. These whiffs are extremely addictive and unforgettable

Onthamara is more like a traditional scent. It really captured Thai culture.

The incensy smell of "Onthamara" gives the feel of Thai temple rituals and tradition, which centred around Buddhist practices and beliefs. It's a unique blend for sure.

Limited Edition of 300 pieces of the "animal trio" with Rahassanai and Oqachol.
Onthamara in Thai means "darkness devil".
Indeed, the fragrance is dark, mysterious and animalic.
Siberian deer musk, amber fossil, hyrax absolute, castoreum. The base and character of the fragrance see these materials as protagonists.
Green /balsamic, smoky, and earthy nuances are then provided by other elements and help to give different nuances to the darkness of the animalic part.
Amber fossil also provides a slightly sweeter resinous and smoky part that goes well with the rest.

Epitome of natural deer musk usage in perfumery

In my opinion, here you have the best use of Siberian Deer Musk in perfumery, so far. I'm a long advocate and lover of the original EO2 parfum, but this one is better. More complex, has more balls, and better blended. Oh, did I mention it's half the price and at a higher concentration? Yes.
Onthamara uses two core materials that lead the composition as a duet, the musk and the amber fossil. They marry beautifully here, the musk with it's animalic, earthy, chocolatey and pissy facets, perfectly tamed by the smokiness, dryness, leathery, and sweet facets of the amber. Around these, you have other notes dancing around, rounding everything. Woods, spices, tobacco. At the end, you get this multifaceted smoky, ambery, musky perfume, that makes people get close to you, and dances around like a hypnotic aura for hours and hours. Perfectly dosed dirtiness, never too much to offend, just enough to intrigue. I love it so much, I had to get a backup. Top 3 ever Prin releases for me, and quite possibly my favorite from him.

In memory, you color the years; the fir is a dream from a fable, the images begin to blend, like glowing herbs sizzling in sharp light, as if you were brushing over nettles in the sky above the forest. Chimeras glide through damp leaves, their soft leather shines in the foggy haze from human dew pearls above and the dirt in their scruffy fur. You follow the familiar warm trails.
You gently float from the arms of cool spruces into the half-dark of dim amber lights on earthy warm bark floors and observe the black pine tar threads that smolder from the branches and gently singe the spicy mosses. Bright roots of wild grasses, the stinging hairs, ethereal herbs, fall like beams of light into your dream, into the image of a Dutch master, into the shadows of dark fir balsam, into the soft mulch of dusky brown, into the earthy shimmering labdanum in the eyes of the chimeras of a distant farm in summer beyond the forest.

"Onthamara" represents an interesting development in Prin Lomros' fragrance worlds for me. Even the opening is unusually sharp, ethereal, and green, which is likely due in part to the bitter-aromatic artemisia, camphor, violet leaf, sharp cinnamon bark, and spicy celery. The impression of nettle with pepper soon expands with leathery-soft, animal-sweaty notes (deer musk, hyrax, beaver castoreum, cumin) and smoky aromas (Choya Ral, incense, pine tar). However, it remains a balanced blend of spicy-green, tarry-smoky, woody-earthy, and pleasantly animalic notes, as the cool black spruce needles, slightly rooty-smoky vetiver, and soft, barely soapy oak moss emerge on the green side, while spikenard, amyris, and oud appear on the warm-spicy-woody side, and especially fir balsam, amber, and labdanum on the dark-balsamic side.
Thus, a dark brown scent profile develops with increasingly dry-spicy animality, as one already knows from Lomros' earlier works like "Aran," "Varuek," "Nocturnal Poetry," or "Arsalan." The chimera of the old master paints itself vividly but distinctly to moderately before your inner eye.
