Unfortunate cumin marring dark green floral
I loved this on first spray, the green bitterness and the florals played wonderfully together. I can't specifically detect civet or the musk root, but I think it adds to the overall sense of balance and fullness. Somehow feels both heavy and sheer, a complex floral with gothic vibes. I think it's unisex leaning feminine. Unfortunately in the drydown, after about an hour, I am totally put off by the strong note of cumin. I think I need to give up trying Prin fragrances that have cumin listed as a note, because it totally takes over for me in an unpleasant way. And it just lingers and lingers way past most of the elements I enjoyed so much earlier. But at $440/30 ml I suppose I should be relieved I'm not in love with this one. I would love Prin to release a floral/animalic scent that leaves out the cumin for once. Many of his scents were near hits for me, but the cumin ruined it. I will keep trying my samples and update the review if my opinion changes.
