Forlorn Embers & Black Reigns: Review 17

HOLY this is absolutely nuts. Quite literally too. Picture this - a caravan of horses and their men settle down in the deep forest and gather together to ignite a bonfire, and they all bring out sticks with marshmallows and walnuts to cook on top of the fire, and the marshmallows and walnuts get that smoky taste and smell after being burnt for too long.

Cozy winter fragrance

Unspectacular compared to the brand's other fragrances.
Primarily whiskey and woods, tobacco and chestnut complete. The rest in the background herbaceous & spicy. Even if not listed, I smell lavender in the background.
Super durability and sillage.
Beautiful fragrance, but I'm not sure if it's worth the money.

Like the incense cones at Grandma's

For me, the most pleasant fragrance from the Toskovat range so far, which I was allowed to test as part of a traveling letter.
The fragrance greets me with a strong blend of pipe tobacco, wood and whiskey and remains quite linear on my skin and everything eventually blends into a scent of delicious smoked wood.
It also reminds me a little of the little smoking hats that used to be at my grandma's house.

The longevity is once again excellent, even with just 1 spray from the atomizer.

I was allowed to test this fragrance as part of the Toscovat touring letter. Unfortunately, there was only half a drop left, so I had to unscrew the atomizer to wring out the rest.
But it was worth it, because...
...the fragrance starts with sweet pipe tobacco and hot chestnuts. It picks me up in drizzly weather and a rough wind.
I can see the fragrance in fall/winter, in a cozy scarf
.
This one little half-droplet has lasted for hours on my skin, the sillage is good. I find it quite linear, with the roasted chestnut popping up every now and then and reminding me of the time that has recently passed.
I would like to take a closer look at it and get myself a small bottling. This fragrance is not leaving my path yet.

A rainy gloomy fall evening in a bottle

Romanticized with a touch of homesickness.
As you see the lights reflecting on the wet street and watch the leaves fall, you think about how you've never liked being alone as much as you do in these moments.

And this sense of security in this happy solitude is what I love about autumn. And that's what the fragrance gives me.
