Tried four so far and it didn't work out. Then, this. This is so good I am not certain if I'm actually dreaming or not, since Toskovat fails terribly with me all the times.
But no! This is amazing. I grew up with amaretti, and this is a beautiful tribute. It smells like bitter almonds and booze, exactly as the biscuit we are talking about, and I'm addicted. ADDICTED! To this. Finally, I can rest. Toskovat satisfied me. My job is done.

Fantastic how is possible to smell both the amaretto and the honey in something that recalls my childhood.
As the amaretto biscuit, it starts sweet but then leaves something bitter..in a melancholic feeling that is so weird and fascinating.
It's a perfume i love, although on my skin doesn't last too much..I need to smell the Ataraxia version hopefully is stronger.

Coming into it i didn't have much expectations for this fragrance, just blind bought it because they are hard to get, and i wanted at least 1 Toskovat' perfume.

And so on first spray, the opening reminded me a lot of Triumph Of Bacchus from Argos. Either the peach or tobacco notes seem very similar to me. But different from Bacchus you get a nice smooth almondy/amaretto note in there. which persist thought the whole life of the fragrance.

Once its dried down, it turns around from the smoky/resinous feel, into a fruity sweet almost sugary breadcake with toppings of orange zest. I get very little tobacco, still the smooth amaretto, making it feel like your in a cozy cafe.

overall i didn't think i would like it as much as i do. For a super niche, i think its very crowd pleasing most people would like too smell this. non offensive for sure. Might be my best sweet/fruity fragrance which I've been looking for.

only downside for me, is longevity its good enough, 6-8 hours after that its a skin scent. But for the price. i would want it to be similar to a MFK Grand Soir, Xeroff Naxos Or Argos Triumph Of Bacchus in terms of longevity, which are all cheaper than this. (might be my skin)

Very waxy, less sweet than I anticipated (what bliss!). The opening is boozy, all amaretto, orange, and I can see why "peach stone" is in the notes! Somehow, it is in here indeed! The dry-down is resinous, waxy, oddly powdery (in a good way), and slightly floral. Also, smells like communion wafers (? lol) For once, tonka doesn't dominate the scent, but adds just a bit of sweetness. Amaretto note stays all the way throughout the wear. A very warm scent.

Its a cold cold day, snow is flying by and you are keeping shelter in a warm wooden cabin.

For me this is a very warming and calming scent, its the amaretto with the peach and candle wax that gives me a warm feeling.

If you like warm, wintery scents this is something for you. It last like a good 9-12 hours on skin and projects like a beast in the beginning hours.
