Vanilla Bomb
This fragrance is a true ode to vanilla. I am currently testing various vanilla scents to find the most wearable and beautiful one among them, without it becoming annoying at some point during the day.
Test No. 37282: We have landed on Vaniglia by Mazzolari. ;-)

So far, this vanilla perfume is the richest and most vanilla-scented fragrance in its class for me. The scent is not particularly complex - right from the first spray, it smells like a sweet vanilla bomb with delicious caramel. This doesn't really change over the hours. The scent remains very true to vanilla, with a caramel twist. It is very gourmand, almost like bourbon vanilla syrup for baking. Sweet, sticky, and indeed viiiiiil vanilla :-)
I find the scent quite heavy on myself; the sillage and longevity are incredibly good. I can perceive it very well on myself throughout the day, and the next day, my clothes still smell very decadent. I can imagine that some perfume wearers among us might get headaches from it. The scent is truly present, so if you are looking for this kind of vanilla perfume: Definitely check this one out.

No one loves you, but I do!
Eden Juicy Apple by Kayali unfortunately doesn't get a good reception here, which I find very unfortunate, and that's why I've decided to write a little review about the fragrance :-)

What you can expect here is truly a fruit explosion. Even in the dry down, this doesn't change; the scent is and remains sugary sweet and "juicy." Mona Kattan, the founder of Kayali, herself says about the fragrance that she wanted to create a perfume that reminds her of her high school days in the USA (she now lives in Dubai). And in my opinion, she has captured those teenage vibes very well. Of course, it's not a scent that you spray on and then drive to the office thinking, "Wow, I smell so professional today." It's more of a fragrance that you wear when you meet up with friends or spend a nice evening (on the couch?) with your sister. The special thing about Kayali fragrances is that they are perfect for layering. You could layer it, for example, with "Vanilla | 28 | Kayali" or Citrus | 08 so that it doesn't come off as overly artificially sweet.

Regarding the scent itself, it can be said that from the first spray to the dry down and even after a few hours, it has a strong and easily noticeable Juicy Red Apple note, and I can also perceive the red berries quite well. I can faintly detect some floral notes in the background, but they are really hardly worth mentioning as they are overshadowed by the sweet, red apple. The longevity on the skin is okay; I could still smell it on my clothing the next day.
I am actually considering buying a bottle. My 10ml decant is slowly coming to an end ;-)

By the way: the number "01" in the name stands for the number of versions they went through until they achieved the perfect result to launch the fragrance. With "Eden Juicy Apple | 01 | Kayali," it was a hit right from the first attempt, and none of the revised versions could convince Mona and her team :-)

New Great Love?
Baccarat Rouge 540, a niche fragrance that is truly one of a kind. Originally a hidden gem, which unfortunately is no longer so secret. By now, some fragrance twins have already been created. Today, however, we focus on the original, the one and only, which captivates both men and women alike.

I ignored the scent for a long time - saffron as the main player seemed too oriental, too spicy, too heavy for me. I feel more at home in the sweet, fruity, and vanilla-gourmand world. But my curiosity and interest were greater - worth the hype? Is Baccarat Rouge 540 really as great as everyone says?

My answer is quite clear: Yes.
Just five years ago, I would probably have taken two steps back and exclaimed "eww." What was once an "eww" has now turned into an "ooh." At first, I clearly perceive the jasmine note, and right behind it, the saffron note is already hiding. Yes, it is exotic, reminiscent of warm countries, inviting you to dream. It is not piercing or too spicy, no, it is just right. Later, warm amber and wood notes come into play, but they remain behind the saffron, allowing it to take the lead. Although the fragrance components are manageable, the scent is still multifaceted. And that is exactly why I fell in love with Baccarat Rouge 540.
Since I also deal a lot with scented candles, I would like to note that the perfume has a similarity to "Vibrant Saffron" by Yankee Candle. Just saying ;-)

P.S. I layered this beautiful scent today with "Vanilla | 28 | Kayali." To all vanilla lovers: You must try this combination. The blend is a dream!!

Reminds of Rose Water
First of all, I want to say that I am a bit of a fangirl of Huda and her sister, and I had to test all the perfumes from Kayali when I found out that there are also perfumes under the Huda Beauty brand. Yes, I don't know how that happened, but it completely slipped my mind that there are also perfumes from Huda. To be more precise, I didn't connect that Kayali is a Huda brand. For those wondering what I'm talking about, just go to YouTube and search for Huda Kattan.
After the birth of my daughter, my passion for perfumes has unfortunately become a bit rusty; maybe that was part of it.
Anyway, let's briefly talk about the scent. I have to say, I am a bit disappointed here. I feel at home with sweet, fruity, and gourmand fragrances; it can also be creamy-powdery-floral, but I have to be in the mood for that. However, I thought Huda would surely create a wonderful floral scent here.
On my skin, though, I really don't like the scent at all. At first, the peppery-spicy note is very dominant, but just as quickly as it comes, it disappears again, leaving almost a pure, oriental rose scent on my skin. Unfortunately, this scent reminds me too much of cheap rose water from my childhood, which my parents liked to buy at the oriental supermarket. As it goes with scents and associations, this particular association comes up for me - unfortunately. And no matter how often I sniff my wrist, it unfortunately doesn't get any better. No, we will not become friends. I'm sorry, Huda.
In my opinion, there are much nicer rose scents, for example, especially Escada or the classic Chloé. I am really glad I didn't buy the large bottle right away, as that would definitely have to be passed on. What a shame.

Beautiful Vanilla Scent
Vanilla | 28 is for me the most beautiful vanilla scent. Very elegant, high-quality, and by no means cheap. I find the sweetness that the fragrance carries to be very pleasant and not too overpowering. The scent also reminds me of the fragrance Midnight Shimmer by Michael Kors. Not an exact match, but there is a similarity.
The longevity is rather mediocre for the quite high price, but I accept that because I simply like the scent very much. You really have to be a fan of sweet gourmand fragrances to enjoy Vanilla | 28. I would buy the fragrance again anytime.
