Fresh spicy!
This is green Spicy, fresh spicy and Oriental woody-leather. This works really well during spring and even summer. Not sure why people rate this as winter prominent at all. The smokiness in isn't a heavy smoke at all, it must be that omani green frankincense in this. Make no mistake, this is a very versatile uplifting scent! For me, spring summer while jubilation 40 covers autumn-winter for me.
Solid development
This has an interesting development on my skin.
When you apply it, you almost think of all you get is Oud. But that soon develops into that orange blossom hearth which stays quite solid throughout the rest of the notes. I'd like to state that the hearth notes are consistent, joining the base at the very drydown. It is a orange blossom-vetiver-oud-woody scent. It is truly fresh, earthy and woody. I kind of agree with Hermesh statement that it is a dry woody vetiver, in essence.
Performance is excellent and less than a drop is sufficient. It really leaves an oily coat on your skin.
Feels quite versatile but I'd say this is superb for relatively hot to peak hot days where you need a "fresh" performer!

Woody glory!
I cite Stinkyriddle's review on Fragrantica "This is probably one of the best artisanal cedar soliflares on the market right now. It’s rich, spicy, warm, Smokey, and woody. There’s a darkness here that is brooding and austere. But make no mistake Cochise is about raw Cedar in all it’s glory. I find this difficult to wear at times not because it’s challenging but rather you must be committed to smelling like a cedar forest where incense is being burned for 12 hours or more. Excellent fragrance."
I agree to some extent. However, What I do get is a synthetically or astringent chapparal/sagebrush that dominates the scent for me. unfortunately.

Dissapointment
Where are the woods? This feels like syntethic lavender with some spice.
Sampled an original sample.
I was expecting some resins, typical needle tree aromathics. Given the name "Timber" this would have been supreme wood scent. It could have been better without the bourbon vanilla and lavender. Instead there should have been some chaparral, clary sage, at least atlas cedar and pinyion pine resins, Ponderosa pine.
The recent releases are just all not as great as the Chong Era classics. For someone looking for woody/forest scents. Havenhollow and Pineward are the houses to go to! Full spectrum high end artisinal perfumery with amazing photorealistic scents.

Probably the most prominent @autumnal timbery" "scent on the market
Top notch cedar prominent scent but with a mix of other woods and saps such as oak, maple, hiba etc.
I think the accords are spot on. It is a somewhat smoky woody scent with a lot of autumnal facets coming from the apple and cinnamon, bread, sheep's wool etc. It is also indeed fresh spicy which makes this werable during the mid seasons I'd say, Spring/autumn. Therefore, not too heavy and actually can vibe a bit fresh. This is nothing syrapy sweet or typical frankincensed smoke. No this is all about the coziness in the forest and cedar in all it's glory, topped by oak and pine.
I love this. Potentially becoming my signature scent. Performance is superb by all means.
I cannot emphasize enough the artisinal and natural quality of Havenhollow generally. You won't find anything like this. Not even my 2nd favorite brand, Pineward. I would go as far and say that Havenhollow feels like Bortnikoff quality which is the n1 in terms of natural extracts and is known to exceed 85% natural extracts and distilled juices, and the overall rare quality.
Thanks Eric for this magnificent creation.
