His & Hers Picks - Edition for Man - 27th of January, 2024

In this testing session, 24 Masculine or Unisex Leaning fragrances from my collection were chosen and sprayed on cards for my husband to judge, with intention for him to wear himself. He loved about 14 out of them, and ranked them from there.

Cards were labeled sprayed and dried then turned over with the label hidden and smelled through in a dimly lit environment. The ones he immediately disliked or could not smell were removed. From there, judgements were ranked in groups of three, and from there, a final ranking is organized. At that point he turned the cards to reveal the names of the scents.

I went along and did the same test with this group to see how similar our noses are. There were six scents we both enjoyed.  I could barely smell many of his favorites, even with refreshing the cards. He outright disliked many of my favorites. Only one of his favorites fell into my disqualifier category, which will be noted below.

Here are the scents we both enjoyed in common:
- Commodity Moss+ (His #4, My #11)
- Dior Dune (His #6, My #4)
- Blue Sugar Dupe by Cradlethesoul138 (His #8, My #1)
- Fleur Di Portofino (His #9, My #9)
- Habit Rouge EDT (His #10, My #6)
- Vanilla Fields (His #13, My #3)

We both could not smell these (even with repeated sprayings):
- L'Eau d'Hiver
- Creed Silver Mountain Water

He disliked and disqualified these, but I enjoyed them:
- Tom Ford Bitter Peach
- Phonecia Butch Fougere
- 19-69 Female Christ
- Ganymede Extrait
- Cyberpunk

These two we BOTH severely disliked:
- Killian L'heure Verte 
- Commodity Velvet+ (A previous failure from my own testing)
